According to my dealer, cleints are starting to get their cars. Has anyone gotten theirs yet? I haven't even been asked to spec mine yet and I'm relatively low on the list

Nice of Ferrari to Fly it to the US for far less than they charge to but one on a truck up the road to Switzerland

You have me curious... what's the delivery charge on a 458 (or any Ferrari) to CH?

Dr Steve Earl (racing Steve, not Monterey Steve) of Garden Ridge, TX has his black 458 already. Saw it a couple of times last week, but too briefly to get photos. His came from FOH. It is way, way quieter than his Scuderia.

Would you kindly elaborate. How much does it cost to fly the car over to the US? Does one simply make this request to one's dealer, then they arrange it with the factory, and all logistics are taken care of? Is one's dealer likely to be receptive to this request, or does it involve some special favor or relationship?

Good to hear about the Doc. I hope he brings it out to one of our events sometime soon. I'd love to see one in black!

I don't remember the price but anyone who orders a new Ferrari has the option to fly or ship. Most choose to ship....
Factory takes care of all shipping from Italy to NJ.

$11,500 USD for air freight, no special favor or relationship required. Simply notify your dealer you want air freight rather than ocean freight and dealer will notify FNA, which will tell factory and they will take care of it for you. With air freight, the car will usually arrive to dealer without window sticker because the car arrives faster than the information from factory to FNA (no big deal). You will get your car 3-4 weeks faster with air freight.

Anyone considering air shipping should check with their dealer if there are any "specials" available.
A lot of guys got their cars flown in for $3k lately.

I did Nero exterior, Nero interior, yellow calipers, yellow stitching, standard wheels, carbon fiber interior, upgraded stereo with navigation, shields, parking sensors, full electric Daytona seats. I think it will look nice. I wanted to do something other than red this time because I think I'm going to do the GTO in red

Nero really works! It seems to fix the issue some people have with the way the nose is painted black. Nice options selected, hope the wait isn't too long.

One picture from before that really shows how perfect black looks on the 458.
You need those light weight dark color Sport Wheels...
