Racing starts today with Superbike Race 1 and Sidecar Race 1!

Can John McGuiness stay ahead of the younger blokes aiming to take the wins this year? Can Guy Martin win one? Is Ian Hutchinson actually the man to beat? Can't wait to find out!!

Just watched the Superbike race on tv. Wow, those guys really have balls of titanium!

 

Just wait! Superbike Race 1 is the first race of the week... they actually get faster through the week leading to the Senior TT next Saturday... as conditions permit, of course.

 

I downloaded some of the day 1 stuff to watch later. The sidecars are awesome!

 

I hope Guy wins one; seems a really nice chap. Most of all I just hope they all stay safe.

Are the 2010 TT time trials currently airing on American TV? HDNET channel on my service (ATT U-Verse) began airing the 2009 TT soon after they ran, I think last July. They've been re-running that stuff into the ground ever since!!!!


I'm excited to see the new TT events, if I knew where to look, don't see them on the HDNET channel schedule.

I don't know if any American TV outlet is covering it. I'm downloading the UK coverage via a torrent site.

 

I did the same. The day 1 races and sidecars were great. Scary moment with a little contact on the sidecars! I can only imagine the adrenalne.

 

Day 2's Supersport 1 race is out there... haven't seen the Day 2 Superstock 1 race yet....

 

Racing has been canceled today, with the scheduled races moved to tomorrow.

R.I.P Paul Dobbs, 39, from Onewhero, New Zealand. He died as a result of an accident at Ballagarey during the second Supersport race. He leaves a wife and two children.

 

I just wanted to say the following in regards to the TT-Zero class:

***SPOILERS*** Congrats to MotoCzysz, winning by almost 2 minutes and with a top speed 28mph higher than 2nd place!!! ***END SPOILERS***

TOTAL Bummer about Dobbs, seems there is at least one a year these days

 

That's horrible news. RIP and our prayers are with his family and friends.

 

Unfortunately there was another death. Martin Loicht, 48, from Vienna, Austria, was killed during the Supersport 2 race at the TT Races in an incident at Quarry Bends. RIP.
