Testride 458 from the dealer (+bullitcam)

A friend from our dutch forum (owning a Challenge Stradale and Scuderia 16M) got the opportunity to testride the rossa 458 from the dealer. He took his bullitcam with him.

what were his impression (compared to the 16M and CS)?

 

Nice sound! It appears that he had a good test drive, I sure he was well over a 130KPH many times. Pretty nice lil camera as well.

 

The power and fast changing gearbox is the amazing part. He disliked the smoothness of the gearbox. The 16M for example is rougher, more clicks and clacks
Guess he hit 150/160mph a few times.
Could also be louder, but remove the wires from the exhaustvalves will give the sound in lower rpms we want I guess.

 

Did he edit out the part where he threw the salesman out of the car????

 

Why would the salesman have to go with you ? Did you see him when he left the dealer's ?
Besides that, he already has a CS and Scud 16M from them.
So I guess they have some confidence.

 

nothing to do with confidence... in a lot of country, Ferrari sales guy has to be in the car as it is a condition imposed by the car insurance company (in case you crash it)

 

Ok.. I guess things are easier here. The dealer puts on his green dealer plates and everybody driving (who has a normal license) in ensured 100%. The plates are ensured, whatever car they're on.
