How will you mount your front plate?

when you get pulled over say it fell off. should work the first time.

but if i had to i'd take the option used by the black 458's

It's almost as if the designer simply ignored the issue of front pates when designing the front of the 458.

 

This is the tidiest one I've seen as it appears to have U shaped clips that attach to the lower lip of the bumper.

No, that hanging off the bottom lip position is horrible. If you have to have one then the smallest ones tucked inside the nose are the least offensive. But 'least offensive' isn't really saying much.

 

That one makes you look like a delivery driver.

Yes, I've had low hanging plates get scuffed before.

Every one of the placements looks suboptimal to me. The ones covering part of the top bumper rim look lousy, the one's covering part of the bottom bumper rim look like temps that will rip off, and the one's more in the middle are crammed up agains the F horse. I'd just as soon remove the F horse and locate the plate centrally. At least, then, it would look intentional and not as if owners are struggling to make a placement "work".

So bizarre that this headache wasn't taken care of at the design stage.

 

My vote goes for the plate over the horse. Small plate if possible.

 

agree- that's what I will do for my Swiss car (delivery end of the month). Unfortunately the sticker version is illegal...

this is not a good looking solution! I vote for replacing the horse with a smaller plate.

 

you could always get one of those bike rack plates (fraction of the size) and mount it to the front. once again not technically legal i wouldnt think, but its a transport sa issued plate, it would at least be able to be mounted above or below the horsie...
