I'm a bit concerned about model run ons going on the runs, could it lead to people bringing along there injected sisters or worse still modern Ferrari cars?
    ie 365 2 plus2s and 400is
    GTB308 and there injected sisters
    BB512 and BB512i's.

    I think I get it...

If someone owns a 512bbi then its not a carby car, a 512bb is, you are concerned with the 512bbi owner feeling they can attend a carby run in a non carby car...

I say let's not discriminate against injection, I though the point of the carby runs was to get the older cars out for a run together at a pace suitable to the era? Surely a 512bbi is all but the same pace car as the 512bb?

I can see what you are getting at but come one come all I say...

(also, my opinion on this matter is worthless.... still wanna share it though... :p)

Well if an injected ****ty old Jag can go on Ferrari carbi runs, then its open to anything IMO. I think I might take the Dunnydoor on the Carbi run at the end of the month. :p

Would it not be in the best interest for everyone to not separate things more than they already are (I'm reading into certain things that have been mentioned) So allowing a few of the older cars that are injected to come along would not be the end of the world, so long as the owners are part of the group and there to have fun all is good.

Bit like a Jag going along that's in injection.... All good in my book...

Agree, Rob. I've been concerned by this for a while now. If 512BBi and 308QVs and (heaven forbid) 328/F355/360/F430s start coming along, I will refuse to attend. Will ruin the whole point of these runs, IMHO.
