Sometimes I wonder how they stay in business. As a native of St. Louis, I am embarassed every time I see their sales hyperbole.

If it is a factory system, show us a picture of the steering pump. Does it use a Mondial t setup?

It really is a very rare car...It also has factory custom inverted wheels and a shift knob for the visually impaired.

I didn't see a cup holder though...I'd buy it if they'd take off the power steering and add a cup holder (screwed into the dash is the only way to go) LOL...

My 348 steers so well, I'd better see if mine has power steering too. ;-)

    Wow what an ad...

It's always nice when the wheels are on backwards.

Shows the seller really knows how to make a presentation.

I checked mine...no power steering LOL. The buyer will have a hard time replacing it if it ever goes bad...it's the only one known in existence. Sorry couldn't resist...LOL

Well, I tell you. Switching from stock 348 wheels to the challenge wheels makes you think you have power steering all of a sudden.

    The difference is startling.

    I'm loving it!! :)

LOL. I think that's the "built in" battery tender.

Or, or where you plug in the power steering!!!!!

I think that's a flux capacitor. Very rare car indeed as the flux capacitor was a DMC option. :D

With the plug I think it is a serious engine block heater you plug in during winter.

ditto - would not even think about stepping in that guys place of shame!

umm - had a minor issue with the law over odometers as I recall. In their prime they were a big Movie Star delership selling the RR's all over the US - today not so much. I could go on but somethings are not worthy.

The car looks very nice. It may have had its front spoiler shaved (like mine).

Daniel, I didn't know you were from the Lou! Where'd ya go to high school :) :) :)

agree on the dealer-professional shyster (sp?). that car has either been for sale before with them, or has been in their possession for at least 18 months. I looked at it briefly, was in pretty rough condition (photographs well, though!), and they didn't seem to excited to sell it. so I walked.

had I known it had PS, I might have made an offer :)

YES, born and raised in St. Louis. Family still lives there. I'll be back in late July for a long weekend and looking forward to taking Luca up the Arch for his first time and a trip out to Ted Drewes.

Where I went to High School? A little school on Price Road, slightly south of Clayton Road. ;)

Dealer of questionable ethics and a car that does not appear to document its "so called" rarity. Price is about $10K over market plus whatever deferred maintenace it requires. First year 348, modifications, Motrinic 2.5. Steer clear.

Look, I realize I'm a "ROOKIE" and all, but clearly this is an ELECTRIC CAR! I thought my 348 got decent milage, but hey if you got a couple million feet of extension cords... IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES!!!

Sorry but for all the slating this has here I beg to differ, it looks in far better condition than many of the trash 348's I viewed in the UK when looking to buy, several years back.

So the wheels on wrong, common mistake big deal get over it. Power steering, well yes they clearly don't know their product to be stating such bull. But as far as it being an early one 'so leave alone', I don't agree at all, it's all down to condition/history. I'd rather this M2.5 one than a 91/92/93 with bells and whistles but has been ragged and is shoddy (as many seem to be over here UK side). At least from the pictures the car looks to be in pretty good clean nick. btw I'm not being biased, as mine is a slightly later 91 M2.7.
