Very good catch! 0687GT - like 0529GT - was also with Joe Harth in Venezuela. Best wishes, Kare

Thanks Kare; I'm still thinking wether the stop lights were original or locally modified.
    Best regards

You mean those tail lights? They come from a VW 1500, so 100% modified. Best wishes, Kare

THANK YOU BRANKO for share here the pictures !
if the Coupe in pic 1 and 2 are in Grigio Conchiglia,it could be s/n 1233GT or 1281 GT.
    In pic 3 and 4 ,the Coupe looks really a white one..possible s/n 1149GT.

I'm not sure about the serial numbers, surely the historians can correct me if needed.

    regards
    Ivo

I agree. Will be impossible to tell apart 1233 and 1281 I think. Note those beautiful parking lights that so often get changed for standard Altissimos these days. Don't know if people think they are not original or if Altissimos are a safer choise for judging. Best wishes, Kare

The driver is Azzurro Manzini and is one of the 3 or 4 A6GCSs that were in Venezuela.
Here es another view of the same car, same race and you can see another one way back.

    Branco,
thanks. But is Manzini in car-no. 75 or in the A6GCS on 3rd position which is #2098? The car in front and in the very back is unknown to me (also the 150S on 2nd position is unknown). Ideas?

    Ciao!
    Walter

In messege # 364, the car in between the two Maseratis, is the ex Marzotto's Ferrari 500 Mondial Scaglietti (s/n 0404?), in this case, driven by Raúl Domínguez. Can be partialy seen also in message # 367. Some consider this, the first Scaglietti bodied Mondial

    Cheers

    Branco,
no, can`t be #2066 as this car had got a slightly different front section around the radiator due to an earlier accident n Italy. #2098 had got a smaller radiator after the fatal crash of Croquer so this car can be easily identified. But I agree with you that one of the other cars could be #2069.

    Ciao!
    Walter

Willy, 0440 was one of the 3 Ferraris that Joao Rezende Dos Santos bought and brought to Venezuela in 1955, 0352, 0440 and 0462.
