Asking price seems fair if not ballpark to me.

I would offer 71k. I think most dealers are aiming to sell a couple thousand below asking.

Has all records, but no mention when the last major was done. I will ask them about that.

I have almost the exact same 360, same color combo, and only a few hundred away in S/N. Mileage is also almost equal. I purchased mine with the stock wheels as this car has (since added CS wheels).

If all services are up to date, 72k seems about right. Keep in mind it's still peak season, and if you can wait until winter to buy (as I did), you will save at least 5k, possibly more. But if you live in an area where the driving season is only these 6 temperate months, that extra money may be worth it to you for the enjoyment of driving it this season.

Forgot to mention, I had noticed this car on eBay also. It was bid up to 75k, meeting reserve, then the high bidder backed out for some reason and it did not sell.

Thanks for the info. I might have to wait till winter depending on work. I might leave all summer for work which forces me to wait till I get back before I purchase any car. It makes no sense to buy it and park it all summer. I should know soon. Again, thanks for the info.

72k seems about right from looking at prices the past 6 months. But, a PPI is really what you need. If the car is completely straight and no problems, it could be worth more. If it is leaking oil/fluids and has other problems, it may only be worth $50k or less.

I am in the process of getting my AC compressor rebuilt and a new one was going to be $2500 just for the compressor. Rebuild will be about $530. The guts of the AC compressors are the same for most cars. There are really only 2 or 3 companies that make AC compressors. The car makers just slap their mounting bolts and label on them.

Repairs on these things can add up quick. Interestingly, changing the spark plugs was only $400. Some things aren't bad, but other things can be really pricey.

Some of these cars have not been maintained well and delayed maintenance can be a hidden black hole into which you can pour lots of money.
