Steve, you are so right, I got my ELM 327 scanner two years ago, and cost less than $30 from Ebay. I connect it up to my Ferrari laptop and can do all the same stuff, to include reading live sensor data and even "freeze frame" which you can save and print out. Looks to have similar capabilities to yours. One advantage of the laptop is larger, easier to read display....but one drawback, bigger of course. ;) The nice thing is all of these are compatible with any car made since 1996.

    Similar to this one:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/V1-3-ELM327-Auto-Scannner-Diagnostic-interface-OBD2-CAN-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2a075caed6QQitemZ180512141014QQptZMotorsQ5fAutomotiveQ5fTools

And now they have bluetooth versions too. :)

Very cool to read all the sensor data, and O2 voltages and graph them.

They also now have a cable and app deal for iphones that works as a scan tool. One of the guys I work with has one and you can plug in the cable, run the program, then later bring up the course that was driven. Then you look at the map, pick out where your car stumbled or had a problem and it gives you the freeze frame data from that point. Oh and it charges your phone while you're driving as well lol

I spotted a nice red F348 with white challenge wheels as we were both driving I-90 eastbound, I was in my Scuderia. The car passed me before I could see who was driving.

    White Lamborghini Murcielago

A very polite driver, just follow the traffic at 60 MPH. I took the picture with my cheap camera.

Window tinted too dark to see who is driving it.

I almost thought you were possibly referring to my car, but I was on 520 on Saturday, not Sunday. :)

That would have been my titanium 550 and others heading to Monroe to meet up with a group of 20+ cars going to Leavenworth for the weekend. Lots of photos in the "Friends of Carlo" thread.
