I have 2 remotes for my 2000 360. I don't have the red remote. Replace the battery in both a month or so age and they were both working fine, now 1 of them blinks red but nothing happens. the other 1 works just fine.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Steven- Repace the battery again and try pinching the contacts closer before inserting the new one. Make sure there is no corrosion on the contacts. A weak battery or bad connection may provide enough power to illuminate the red LED, but sometimes not enough to disarm the alarm/immobilizer. Been there, done that. I recommend Duracell batteries because I have never had one leak, and other batteries have, including Energizers.

Read this if you have insomnia tonight. Explains all about the Alarm System and the alarm fobs. It has an image of the battery you want.

Also, unless you did the antenna mod you have to be very close to the car for the remotes to work. The alarms antenna is in the panel behind the drives seat. It is behind a metal bracket that effectively isolates it (think Faraday cage). There is a thread with full pictures on how to pull it out of the metal enclosure. Quick, easy, and will make your remotes work from distance.

Ah hah! Here I was trying all my remotes trying to figure out why they only work from about 4 feet away! :)
