There are no ferrari only track events here because most people are waxers. Do you have an SCCA or NASA license? There are plenty of days for that. And if you want just trackdays there are guys like speedventures.com and arosc.org running events all the time. Last regional race of the SCCA year is October at BRP. WestCoast racing runs a trackday/raceday in November usually at WSIR and the FCA used to partner with them until the notable ferrari mechanic track rep for FCA moved out of town. Now a couple of ferrari guys show up to WCR events but there is nothing organized and there is no ferrari specific run group but WCR does run an open class race on one day of the 2day event. If you don't mind going to vegas Spring mtn. usually has some kind of weekend trackdays open. If you are serious in getting some tracktime in Socal keep my email and I'll keep you posted closer to the time you might be here. I race SCCA T1 where the 360C can run and do many trackdays with other groups too sometimes in a 550M and mostly in a T1 vette. Oh there is NCRC who does racing and trackdays in NoCal and runs Laguna seca and the SF region of SCCA who's schedule you can check out too. I'll race with them in July at laguna.

    Where: DGR Performance, 1555 1/2 S. Coast Highway, Oceanside, California. 92054 (760-458-6131)
    When:Gathering on July 10th at 10:00 & a Drive on July 11th at 8:00

Zac Dugger, Tom Wilson & Tom Yang are hosting a free gathering in Northern San Diego county for all fans of vintage Italian cars, with the focus being on the Ferrari 250 GTE. Zac Dugger has opened his Ferrari restoration shop to all who like to look at fine Italian rolling works of art and to meet others who feel the same. Featured will be Scott Oshry’s Cavallino award winning GTE (SN 2169, the first production GTE) alongside Tom Wilson’s basket case Series III GTE (SN 4247), which will be used for “how do we get from here to there” discussions by a variety of vendors and restorers. Among a growing list of presenters are:
    Diamond Detail on car detailing.
    Jake’s Custom Coachwork on Metalwork
Karps Brake Service on brake restoration and sleeving
Peter Hognes Restorations on top level paint work
JP Transport on using professional transportation services
We will also have a full motion racing simulator that is used for training F1 drivers

On Sunday morning we will be leading a drive through the hills and along the coast of San Diego, stopping at all scenic viewpoints for photos and talk, as well as somewhere near Ramona for lunch and apple pie.

For more info contact Tom Wilson ( [email protected]), Tom Yang ( [email protected]) or Zac Dugger ([email protected] ). RSVP’s are not necessary, but would be helpful to give us an idea of how much food and drink to supply. Hope to see you and your car there!
