$2.93m for a 1/18 Veyron anyone?

Just came across this over at Autoblog. I love my 1/18 collection, which includes the AutoArt Veyron, but WOW...solid gold with diamonds..is this the ultimate scale model? I think I might buy the real car, or a second or third one (because anyone who buys this will probably own at least one Veyron).

I have 6 versions of the Veyron in 2 foot long 1/8 scale for a tiny fraction of this - around $5K - if anyone feels like treating themselves...

I can't get over how stupid this is. If it did cost 30.000 $, OKAY, you're stupid but it's your money so spend'em if you want to. But this is 3.000.000 dollars. 3 freakin' million: That buys you a freaking mansion most places in this world.
