    With the top off ;)

The steering wheel looks to be at a different angle, and it doesn't look stock.

I agree. The steering wheel has been tilted up to it's maximum condition.

I am not as tall as Wilt, but I am 6'6" tall and my steering wheel is not tilted all the way up, like his was. (Its amazing what you can "fit" into, if you really want to.)

He had a 355 that had custom seats, and the seat rails moved back, if I understand correctly.

With the rear seats removed, and the front seats lowered.

Yes, im sure the 308 has a smaller cab than the 456. :D:D

Also, the Stilt's 308 looks pretty much stocko inside. The Shaq attack had some modifications done to his car. :D:D

Was the car custom-built for Wilt?

If so...was the wheelbase lengthened or other modifications made to the car to accomodate his height?

Does not seem to be beyond the realm of possibility.

Somewhat off topic but, if you were selling a car "verified" to be celebrity owned and it had a his name on the door, why wouldn't you take a picture of that for the ad?

I met Wilt at a club in Copenhagen in the 70's, dancing with two girls. And, based on his book, I wouldn't challenge anything he claims to have "fit into."

For many years now, the very tall 7 plus feet, Bill Russell, has lived in the Seattle area. While he was still coaching the Super sonics basketball team, there was a guy running around the area pretending to be Mr Russell. This guy drove a 450sl Mercedes and would stop at various resturants and establishemnts and pass himself off as Mr Russell, scam the resturants and bars then move on not paying the bill.

He was much shorter than Mr Russell but really did look very much like Bill. Finally the authorites caught up with him and when asked why he was so much sorter than the real Mr Russell, he actually told the authorities, he has his legs surgicly shortened to fit in his Mercedes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was where my mind was going also with this topic. But, I couldn't think of a clever barb that related "FITTING into a 308" with "25,000 women FITTED into" ;)

Shaq has (had?) a 360 with a stretched frame. I saw it on a show on MTV cribs or something years ago.

I was wondering how many of those women were in the passenger seat of this car also.
