yup. after owning my pedestrian metallic black daily driver...i'm never again buying black:) well, unless the car comes with a 'detailing' package to keep her tip top:) however, i do think the 458 looks stunning in black. yet, mine would be Grigio Titanio...

yum, race seats with the optional alcantara centre along with the red stripe, carbon wheel, carbon centre tunnel, carbon paddles, looks like carbon drive zone. too much carbon and alcantara on this car is never enough. stunning.

Grigio Titanio? Dave you should buy that Gr Ti Stradale then. 60k less than when new plus it's lighter to and 'they aren't building them any more' either...

That is the way I ordered my 458......Nero Daytona w/ painted silver optional wheels and aluminum calipers. I also stayed away from the "latest" fashion of excessive carbon fibre and alcantara finishes. I ordered a lot of extra cuoio leather.....shelf, tunnel, ceiling and upper zone ["A" pillars and ceiling surrounds]. I want the car to hit me hard with the sweet smell of leather when I get in. Alcantara does not do this.

    July production.....Sept/Oct delivery.....

Not keen on CF, way too busy on the eye (and I think the aluminum really suits this design), though, while I might not order it myself, I do quite like the look of the contrast you get with alcantara.

Congratulations. The wait is going to seem like an eternity! :)

That tri tone yellow is just about perfect except for one thing...the steering wheel is on the wrong side.
As a result of the dual materials used; the seats have a nice contrast further enhanced by the stitching that shows off the seat design pattern. Solid color without contrast stitching looks a little tame by comparison.
That interior looks really special and to have the carbon wheel without the other carbon bits looks like a 'mix & match' compromise. Super look with the dark wheels to!
    Thanks for the great pictures.

The steering wheel is exactly where God intended it to be! :)

Went to the Ferrari showroom yesterday and they have a White 458 for show. It is the US version. Black interior with the sport seats and those seats are great. The other thing I noticed is the dash is not a bright crome but a dule chrome which looks much better than what you see on the Ferrari web site. This location is the only other place in the world that you can fully speak your car just as if you were at the factory. You can't buy any Ferrari there except the models ones. Very nice people and they take all the time you want to show you the car and see the seat sample, color's, leathers etc. Highly recommend for those visiting NY.

IMO, white is not a good color for this car. White does nothing to show the lines of the car and lacks the "mean" look that the darker colors seem to have.

Sorry no pics but there are several white 458's in this thread.

One thing they will not let you do is start up the car - too bad was looking forward to the wonderful sound!!
