I bought a Lambo , a 98 Diablo SV from Ebay last year , it was pretty smacked up , I was thinking of pulling the chassis to straighten her but that would never work , it would look terrible and not be strong, so me and my friend replaced about 85 % of the square tubeing and pulled a little, my post today really is for my Amazement that well after 3 days of searching for a alarm problem which I thought I fixed the car fired up the first time it turned over, which I thought was really cool because the car has not been started in over a years time,it started immediately and sounded like I hoped it would, the noise the motor produces is Music , its just amazing , I goosed it a couple of times, sounds like a pure racing car, it does have a Larini stainless exhaust, and I still have to make tailpipes, I wanted to share with everybody how happy I am because I am a motor head and bought this car just to hear that sound, this week I will button up some loose ends and take her out on the road next week, I have to hand it to Lamborghini to build such a machine of a motor. The people who have these cars are just so blessed and the people who do not should really get one ,with this site it makes it easier to have some fun ,Thanks all .

awesome, glad to hear it. I remember a thread awhile back about a the project when you were considering it? There were a lot of naysayers - was it worth the effort?

From your post I'm guessing yes!

Thanks for the encouragement, I never regretted buying the car even if I had to sell my other 2 cars and I didn`t have a car for over a years time, thats not something everyone can pull off, A car is a necessity in many cases, I borrowed the work truck, my kids car , and my wifes bicycle most of the time , I have some before photos, some of the wheel well with all the damage, mangled chassis tubes, ripped out oil cooler + stuff, now I will take some of the repair before I install the liner. I should be able to post photos soon, The chassis could have been done sooner but it seems that with a Lambo in the shop, people came out of the woodwork to get work done on thier cars and what I thought would be a couple of months turned into 8 months, but it was still worth it , my friend is real talented when square and rectangle tubeing is involved and he builds race cars from scratch and knows alot more than me when it comes to measureing and setting up suspensions, now its up to me to complete the body and mechanical work. I will keep you guys posted .

.......................................................Thanks , I saw your car on Sunrise 2 weeks ago, When I see it , it puts me in a state of shock , I think it would be cool to hear two 12 cyl. Lambos running through the gears.,maybe would could tape it .
