    Everyone was out of the car, appears all are safe and sound. Both doors open, flames pouring out.

    My kid just emailed me the photo.

    Damn shame.

    Looks to me like it's just in front of the rear wheels. Engine fire spewing forward out of the intakes/wheelwells?

    Terrible, regardless. Gutwrenching to see someone's dream machine vanish like that. :(

    That is a very small picture taken from a terrible angle but ... I could even make a case that there's a car in front of that one that's burning. No way it's the engine compartment.

    MY DAUGHTER SENT ME THE PHOTO, AS IT WAS HAPPENING, FROM HER I-PHONE.

    It's not a fake.

    It's a real fire, although it does not appear to be coming from the engine compartment. I'll try to get some details from her today, if I can. BUT, IT'S THE REAL DEAL. SHE WATCHED IT BURN.

    Apparently there was an electrical problem. The owner was driving it and suddenly all the dash lights came on and smoke started billowing out.
