Better that than having a girl who's gonna fight with you over who gets to play GT5 ;)

Btw, the song used in the trailer is sooooooooooooooo good!

True true. But those sort are rare, aren't they?

I have to disagree about the song though. It's rather "Urgh!".

But OMG. Racing on the Top Gear track! Cars going by the Follow-Through, and cars coming into the first corner! I hope damage modelling's good!

I hear 200 "Premium" cars will feature realistic damage modeling and 100% accurate interiors, down to the instrument clusters and seats. The rest of the 800 or so normal cars will not feature realistic damage but will look good enough such that only hardcore enthusiasts or owners will be able to tell the difference apparently.

    But yeah Top Gear track :) :) :) I can't wait!

it's true! cars made me very poor :(

U guys r damn funny, always come out of the blue to ask for joyrides. If u're sincerely passionate abt exotic cars like we do, then show us some love. Write a good & honest post to convince us or at least me that you're a die-hard fan but 1st of all, intro yourself like a gentleman or lady. What has happened to manners in this age? Surely Psp1000 has a name? Some years ago few strangers & even a 14yr old join us in drives/meet. Not all will own an exotic car but i'll be glad to spread the joy & dream. Some day u will have a great garage too & remember who gave u hope ;)

Btw, those underaged will need parent's consent & sign a disclaimer :)

Tim will know the complications involved.

I've got a question here, one that might totally change the plan I have for the future.

What's the height limit, if any, for commercial pilots? I've heard that I'm too tall (190cm) to be a RSAF and / or commercial pilot. Not flying in the Air Force, I can live with. But being too tall to fly commercially, that'll just break my heart. :(

Hi everyone! First of all, let me introduce myself. I'm JK, 20 this year and had probably been lurking in this forum for nearly 2 years! Why? Mainly because I solely enjoy the pictures posted by you guys and had been too distracted to post (ok, I admit im just too shy to post since I was only 18 at that time). Since young, I'm extremely passionate about cars, starting from Japanese tuning cars and now, exotic cars after being exposed to Topgear!

So how did I develop the obsession for cars? Whenever I'm at the bus-stop with my mum when I was young, I would always squat down and stare at the wheels of buses! Guess that was how it all started!

Fchat had since became a part of my "life" and it is always the first website I'll surf whenever I switch on my laptop, even in school which I'm doing now. Haha!

I do have a license, but do not own a car, but just like every mortal out there, I do hope to own one at least. I hope to join the discussion more actively from now and to know you guys better (and your cars! :p)

190 sounds a bit too much for RSAF to me & it ain't easy to get in, abt 1~2% of annual SAF intakes are selected with probably less than 20 finally getting their wing.

I'll let Audi fill you in on the height for commercial.

Hello Keong. Welcome to the thread & see that you've been an Fchat resident for a while now :)

Hmm wheel obesession, that's new but I have to admit those huge truck wheels with polished steel nuts do amaze me & like u, I grew up watching cars go by while waiting by the bus stop ;)

Any pics to post that you've collected over the years? Got to give this thread some colours.

Yeah! Those rims on the car are like heels on a woman, you can't help but notice them! And I'm not surprise if I would actually bore my friends once in awhile when I spot an exotic on the road, "Hey look, thats a ______!" and I'll start babbling all the technical specs!

I collected quite a few pictures from the past. Most of them are from vanq, creativestudio etc. These are the few which I really love, and had been using it as my MSN display picture for some time, and also my folders dedicated to cars only. ;)

*I take no credits for the pictures.

Commercial can accept tall blokes of 1.9m, no issue. RSAF I think, is limited to 1.92m or something like that.
A bigger concern, if I was your height, would be unable to fit into the older exotics :D. Now that would be sad!

Jon, just looking back at old pics of your bull I am sure, brings back some nice memories. Beautiful car! Is it still in SG or exported? Shame to see it leave our shores.

Yep, exported. It's a simple car, just three pedals, 6 speed, no ipod, no navigation or camera, no electric seats, no parking sensors, even the air-con is simple. As bare as u have. Just driver, lots of carbon, leather, some lights & a big V12 behind you.

Speaking of that. Thanks to Cosmo. I went back & did some pics of that KPE drive. When my PS skill improve, maybe can make them look better later.

Oops, pics ganna compressed & looks bad!

I especially love the picture of Jon's murcie stationary in the tunnel! Got me curious as to how you managed to take that picture. My initial thought was that you took it when there was literally no cars in the tunnel at all, probably past midnight.

That was taken during the opening of KPE?

@SF: those V10 & 12 engines rumbling in the tunnel must had been magic to the ears!

Phew, that's quite assuring. Any other requirements? I heard a degree's required (as most occupations do anyway)

Talking about older exotics, Austin Powers' E-Type for sale! With the Union Jack livery!

I suspect that even at midnight / early morning there'll still be the odd car that will be driving through it. I doubt expressways see zero traffic any time of the day for periods long enough to make a shoot safe enough. Would love to know how it's done though :p

Anyway brilliant pictures of the Murcielago! Doors up, the wing mirrors look like bull's horns! Although I suspect it's designed to look that way, similar to the Miura and it's doors.

EDIT: I bet the ruddy speed limit really made the drive a bit difficult :(

EDIT: Yea Keong, I think it's during the opening of the KPE or even before, they're driving against traffic in the 2nd picture which is pretty impossible should it be open, or they have massive cojones.
