I prefer to call it a harmonious orchestra! :)

I'm with you on this, mate. Such gizmos only make us more lazy when there's practically nothing much to do already, except hold on to the wheel and step on the pedals, assuming it's an auto (since 90% of cars are auto nowadays). I think manually operating your wipers or headlights isn't too much to ask for.

Auto indicatos would be so much more useful compared to auto wipers or headlights. Since drivers here have a tendency not to signal, this feature can help prevent near-accidents!

And the age at which those extra pair of eyes are added is getting younger and younger nowadays, it's becoming scary!

I'm sure you know what else it stands for :D

Love the gold rims and decals too!

Is this the method Clarkson talked about during the review of the 599 on TG?

Great choice of pic to dig up! :)

That GTO looks insanely badass! Thanks for sharing!

I think virtually any colour or personalized detail is available under Ferrari's new One-to-One Personalization Programmed. I noticed that many GTO owners have made use of this programme to customize their new rides to look like no other on the street, which is refreshing as the cars look unique compared to the standard red, yellow and black that you see most of the time.

I believe it's the same centre console as the Cali.

Don't think you should try it. The clutch would probably give way after a few tries.

Italian cars just tend to be more temperamental, like their people! They can frustrate you to the max at times, but also give you maximum pleasure on other occasions :D

I always had the same comparison in my mind.

    I think it's a pricey but "must-have" option :D

Maybe the previous owner did not spec it when he bought the car!

    Morning Fchatters!

Yup thats the one! Ferrari won't be pleased with it as well. I'm confident no one in the right state of mine had done it yet.

Ital is asking me to spec my 458. Unfortunately, i am not going to stick in too many options. Its my first coupe, all my last 3 ferraris were spiders. Dont intend to keep this baby for too long. Probably going for a "commerical" color/ options so it would be easier to sell. Saw a red 458 in Milan yesterday. Still not so crazy with the front view.

Any reason why you think the 458 is not a keeper? Looks? Performance must be stunning though.

Is there still the "Options above S$200k for early delivery" thing that was going on earlier in the year?

BTW, I saw a Spyker just outside my hotel window yesterday evening. The sad thing is that this happens to me everytime I choose not to bring my camera. The last couple of times, there was a McLaren F1 and a Bugatti, also outside the hotel. F1 looks super, Veyron looks like a bug on wheels.

Will post the Spyker pics from my phone when I get back but be warned of poor resolution.

I prefer spiders and will buy the spider when it becomes available. The McLaren will also probably become available around the same time. I reckon i would not lose too much money if i use it for 6mths to 1 yr. Once you see more 458 on the roads, the orders will come in and the wait list will built up. Should not be too much trouble or loss to sell it if there is a decent waiting list. The same goes for the McLaren. They are only building 1000 pcs in year 1 and they already have expression of interest of 2500 cars.

Those who get their car this year must have a min options of $100K. My car is arriving early next yr. I am not going to blow 100K for things i dont need

But King, just an honest question. Between the 458 and the MP4-12C, IF u were given an option to purchase one and get it delivered before the end of the year(without ridiculously having to tick $100k worth of stuff), which would u have taken man?

Anyway Derek, still thinking of a McLaren dude? :D

Well, I have taken pictures of the Spyker during Hong Seh's 40th anniversary. Not a fan of the design, not at all!

I think he wants to keep the spider when it arrives in 2012 so the coupe is just for the interim period between now and the arrival of the spider.

I can't get myself to like the front too, as of now. Side and rear profile is pretty good but not the front. It looks too organic to me.

Don't really know the price of a 458 nor Ital's way of running their business, but wouldn't it be "cheaper" to just wait till the spider is out, since you intend to use it short term? I'm sure your current rides would be sufficient to quench your thirst. :p

I think the LWB Aileron looks better than the SWB Laviolette.
