    Hey hey, My name is Jaiden. I recently got into automotive photography. I was recommended to this site by a friend of mine. I shot his car today, its the yellow lambo below. So perhaps I was wondering if you guys can give me some feedback on my work? haha.

    (I'm usualy a fashion/glamour photographer, but I like cars so I picked up automotive photography as well, haha although I'm looking to shoot more exotic cars.)

    So yea! Give me a shout, I look forward to coming out to some of these events and shooting. :)

    if you did fashion photos in the past you need to mix the ladies and the cars.

    Were less interested in the clothes... so ...no clothes...then you got yourself a career!

    I like were you are going with this. LOL. But yeah, I already totely plan on doing that. But first, I gotta find somebody with a nice car willing have it shot alone, and then shot with a girl to. >:3 getting the a girl is easier then getting a nice car right now....hahah.

    Help me out? lol!

    Nice stuff. Coming from a fashion/glamour background, you could probably pull of some interesting styles.

    Oh and seriously think about the whole HDR thing, I think it's usually overdone and gimmicky.

    yea, i moved away from the HDR and now i'm just doing studio lighting now.

    There is a meet on Saturday, July 24 at 9:00am to 1:00pm in London, about an hour and a half west of Toronto....if you are able to come down and snap some shots, you are more than welcome.

    Wow, those are some awesome pictures. For just getting into it, that's pretty crazy.

    Hahaha thanks. Well shooting cars are vwry similar yo to shooting models, as long as you understand lighting, you can shoot amything. Haha almost.

    aww man. Sorry guys, im free saterday but I can't find a ride willing to take me to london....T_T *cries* siiggghh.

    The most recently shop, I used

    semi busted 40D + grip and a 28-135mm lens. on the camera

    Lighting: 2 alien bee strobe lights, 3x pocket wizards, portable battery pack for my lights. And 1 obedient photography assistant who likes cars (and 2 shoot through umbrella's) and a tripod + light stands.

    Extra lighting equip: 1 alien bee ring flash, 1 large soft box, 1 moon unit for the ring flash,
    2x 580ex flashes, 1x 430ex flash.

    Extra camera equipment: 5D-mark ii. 85mm L, 24-70mm L, 70-200mm L, 14-70mmL. +grip (these are my normal choices for most my photo shoots, but all the L lenses and 5D mark II was rented out for a month so I'm back down to basic gear. But I have a 7D and another 24-70mm coming in for me soon, its on order.)

    And no, this does not all belong to me, most of it belongs to my business partner who helps me run a small freelance photography studio. :D

    nice! jaiden, you should clone out the reflection of the lamp post in the drivers window.
