    From looking at the pics and reading the 355 forum, I got the basic info on maintenance for these cars. An engine out service every 3/4 years to change the belts no matter the mileage is a real expensive job ($5000). Would it be a good idea to put an access panel in the firewall?
    The seats can be removed and the bulk items behind the seats are.....?

    Uh,,,,,, no.
    There is a rather large fuel tank behind said firewall.
    If the maintenance on a 355 is an issue you probably should consider another car.

    The 348 but even more the 355 are quite expensive to maintain, unfortunately we all know that ...

    get a 360 instead, no need to get the engine out.

    Ah not that bad all vices are expensive i.e drinking, hookers, drugs, Ferrari's all the same:D:D:D

    I did see once where one is determined you can pull out the fuel tank and access the belts but not recommended.
