OK, u know like our bones. Those grooves are probably going to weaken the rim & @ high speed runs with heat + over 35pounds per square inch stress, it might one day start to crack from those lines. Anyway, if they're less than 3mm deep, I wouldn't bother too much. I decided to collect some souvenir from Sepang by having my front left wheel going in to scope whole lot of stones. They were lodged all over & created a mess plus a lot of ear piercing sounds. Internal of rim was scratched & so was the caliper but thank goodness, the ceramic plate & pads were fine. Went back for over a dozen rounds without issues. Now, get your arse out there & drive it like a screaming monkey!
Yes it's happening, just went to scout the route yesterday. I will PM you the rest of the details. Confirmed participants: Sareve Uhoo MP kopiokosong Spar7 SF Unconfirmed: Leang cka Lung!!!! This is a chance to settle the Fchat showdown with MP
Saw a S65 AMG today. Looked genuine, had the "V12 Biturbo" badges on the fender. Brakes were massive, bodykit and everything looked right. Shame it was only cruising. Would have loved to hear it give the beans.
Dear Jon, The scoring is very superficial so the rim is not likely to suffer from microfractures! Will have to putty and repaint! Checked with Ital...

Was it silver or white? I remembered seeing one in either one of those colours at MBS. I think it's the only S65 around.
shldnt be scoring in the first place so try to get ital to do it gratis (factory can pay -cheaper than new rims). since your car is presumably under comprehensive warranty, everything except wear n tear shld be covered. check the terms of the warranty - does it even mention act of god- n factory would hv burden of proving this damage falls under act of god .if there are a no.of similar incidents, seems an uphill task for them
