Has anyone had issues with the emergency/parking brake light indicator when the brake is not engaged?

Todd- The handbrake is relatively easy to remove and the handbrake switch is easy to replace. Good news is, it only costs $2.73, a miraculously low price for a Ferrari component. I cannot tell from the images whether it is adjustable or not, but at $2.73, probably easier to just replace it. I have more detailed procedures for R&Ring the handle and assembly in the 575M WSM if you need, them, but it is fairly simple. Remove cover, undo four bolts/screws holding the assembly in place. Lift out, disconnect the cable from the lever, remove the single bolt holding in the switch, replace the switch, and reinstall in reverse order.

Thanks Taz. It looks like a cheap and simple solution.

Although I will always defer to Taz on all matters technical, I know that I had the "problem" of the light being on even after the handbrake is released. My cure--learned here, I believe--has been simple: when it is time to release the handbrake, i put my thumb on the button and PULL UP to the top before pushing the handle down flat, all the time keeping my thumb on the release button. The light always goes off.

+1 Yes, I had the light stay on a couple of times so I reingaged/disingaged the brake as previously described. No problems since.

Tex, Todd- Definitely cheaper than $2.73 and the new switch would probably have done the same thing. After a bunch of Z06 Corvettes with the same sort of handbrake, I always did it that way so never even thought to mention it.
