    All,

Before I start calling vendors I would like to ask if any of you with experience know a good source for getting the heat seamed vinyl interiors(seats, door cards and firewall). I especially need "Beige 430" which is a caramel colour. My seats and firewall are serviceable, my door panels minimally need new cards(Maybe someone has a nice used beige vinyl door panel set?) but eventually would like to redo all the pieces(not in a hurry). I appreciate any leads that you've had experience with.

Freeman - while not specifically Ferrari - Octavio in Anaheim can make the door cards. He does it for Delux VW buses (my 23 Window). Made all new panels. He has books on all materials. Octavio's in Anaheim. Simply give him the old panels and he will make new panels.

Is this an indication that Freeman has made a purchase back into the Dino realm?

I tried this with my 1st attempt at redoing the interior. New against old didnt work, bit like spraying the doors and not the wings of your car.

Ended up doing the lot and costing more

Thomas, the heat seamed vinyl interior is not the problem. Luppi does it, but I think only in nero 161. I´m not sure they can do it beige 430.

    Congratulations Freeman!
Blue is an excellent color for the Dino, looks like metillizato blue, nice.

Has anyone else had difficulty getting an email response back from Luppi? After several tries I've nearly given up. I need black/black Daytona seats for my Dino re-covered.
    Thanks

Here is an (unfortunately not high-resolution) picture of my GT's interior, taken when I was looking to buy it in 2005. The combination might be what you are considering, Freeman. The interior, including the carpets, has never beeen restored and so makes a good reference guide.

Thanks Andy. My Dino still has its original Beige 430 vinyl. Its much more tobacco/caramel in color. not as light as yours. I minimally need to do the doors. Rest is serviceable.

    Matthias, Tom,

Luppi seems like the right place. We'll see if he can do Beige 430. One can only try! I'll mention Tom and see if that gets me anywhere.
