There is so much talk here of good food. Whether the topic is authentic, bare-bones cuisine or a tasting menu with great wine pairings, there is always great information to be had.

But we all have our guilty pleasures. And by guilty, I don't mean food we know is bad for us, such as bacon, but food that is almost embarrassing to admit we eat! The items that are so low brow we would never consider eating them if it wasn't for some irresistible pull they have over us.

Mine is Kraft mac and cheese in the blue box, a Hostess chocolate pudding pie, and Taco Bell.

    How about you?

Gibble's Jalapeno Cheese Puffs. I'm addicted to them and pick up a couple of bags when I'm in PA, which I just did about an hour ago.

There is absolutely nothing guilty about nutella.

Mine would have to be pork skins.

I've never had much of a sweet tooth, but I do get cravings for donuts, cinnamon rolls and ice cream. At one point I was going through 1+ gallons of ice cream a week for close to a year.

I ate those like crazy for a while - the Curly Q Cracklin Strips are the best - but the MSG got to me and I was having an allergic reaction to them!

In OZ, the pork roasts (and the bacon!) come with the rind still on and when I roasted it, I could always make our own crackling then - sans MSG. Sadly, we cut all that fat and rind off here.

That almost sounds like a regular weekend diet for me. :)

Mine would be (oh boy - be nice):
    1. Run to Popeye's for a order of Chicken Strips and a order of Nuggets; get BBQ and Confetti sauces; then
    2. Stop at McDonalds on homeward path to get a 5-piece Chicken Select combo meal and Hot Wing sauce; then
    3. Proceed home and trash the 5-pieces while retaining only the fries/drink/sauce from MickeyD's and the Strips/Nuggest from Popeye's.
    4. Eat on the floor in front of the TV watching racing of some sort. :D

    All the while:
    1. Hope wife does not catch me or I'm out of the house for a while. :(
    2. The two girls (GSD's) don't decide to come give daddy love on the floor and take a few fries or chicken pieces while I'm not looking (they work like veloco-raptors sometimes!!!).

haha in college we did something similar a few times...called it a fast food crawl, went to every fast food place in the general area. 3 out of the 4 people vomited as a result. I was the lone one wishing I had.

Frito's corn chips. I can open one of the 99cent bags and be munching away before I realize its almost gone. Strange because I normally don't eat salty snacks.

DQ's Chocolate Extreme and Turtle Pecan cluster blizzards.

    Taco Bell's Grande Soft Tacos.

Chick Fil A mini chicken and biscuits breakfast.
