Lol I love how 911 studio is directly underneath the Ferrari sign in the 3rd picture. It looks like it was supposed to be there
Dude, u have no idea how wide the Murcie is but since lorries go pass, it'll do fine with a bit of sweat of course but I do agree some parts between rocks can be challenging. Hmmm, didn't thought of bringing the GTC up but it was ex-UK, Newcastle to be exact so it did come a long way. Ha, just realised that too! No joke!? www.sgcarmart.c o m Happy shopping
No, no, don't get me wrong. I wasn't comparing the Cayenne to the Murcie man, not that nuts yet! Haha Anyway, was already imagining a nice photo-shoot for the GTC, that's why I asked. Black on green, should be epic kan?
A bit off topic, but have u guys seen any zipping around in SG/MY? Would take this over the mini anytime!!
So where does lamborghini go Lol after looking at his pictures again, looks like 911 is very far below lamborghini!
How is the paper work to send our car to Europe? I think round trip airfreight should cost around 18K?
Aside from the costs, aren't there other issues such as temporary registration in all the territories you expect to pass through?
Aesthetically I can only think of the racing stripes on the doors and the twin exhausts. Oh and a scorpion on the bonnet emblem and rim caps if I'm not mistaken.
i saw the car in Milan few weeks ago. it looks a bit garang. have also seen regular 500 in pearl white with two tone interior. they look very nice and more in line with its dna than the 500 Abarth a nice car for sweet young thing not guys.
100% with u on the standard 500, always makes me think why guys actually buy them, not to mention the new Beetles, in metallic blue/green!! But the Abarth really garang, more like a small Rottweiler! And it can actually pack a punch
Yep Am thinking of buying back my 964Cab! But I really want a manual car Shouldn't be this much. It's abt S$4k to UK port & insured (1way), I'm sure there are specialists shipper that does this & we can have them trailer the car to our hotel valet for a few hundred euros extra. The HongKies often ship their cars over to Malaysia & other places for drives & trackdays. We'll need Eurozone insurance coverage & that's about it. Some Singaporeans have done halfway round the world trips on cars & bikes so it can be done. But we'd want to do it with a bit more style & comfort. Otherwise, Porsche rentals aren't too expensive from Germany. In fact, there are many companies that offer exotic & vintage car rentals with itineraries for Europe tour. How's your LeMans classic coming along? Worth checking as mentioned. Just have proper insurance covered for the period + countries of visit and get a S$30? international driving permit from AA. For a start, we can always organise a drive up to Thailand & have it sent back while we fly home. Some guys send the cars up to Bangkok then fly there & drive from there to the golden triangle. Heard the roads up there are really good.
The shippings seems very reasonable. I have checked a few exotic car rentals and they are rather x. My wife is leaving for Paris tomorrow but i have to cancel.
Better deals are probably through car clubs. I believe Stuttgart auto has trips to Germany driving around the black forest etc. worth a check with them. Rent a C2s & whack it in the mountains!
Super GT2010 in Sepang. Some very good shots. http://www.photomalaysia.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1486103#post1486103 If I'm not wrong, the 2nd last car #365, Mosler900 was driven by our very own Melvin Choo.
If you are a cute looking 18yr old of the nubile species, arranging for a seat on any of our laps can be done very easily
I think freight rates have gone up. Last year was $4k++ one way by sea. Air is approx $12k. One good freight agent to use is Regent, boss also has a CS so confirmed car freak like us.
Freight I can understand but thought shipping still in low spirit? Woah another CS owner! I'm still dreaming of that 30s Bugatti Ventoux but need to strike toto! Am thinking of boxing it in container
