me thinks it will be a no vote, and then the factory will start its own club and then watch the hairdressers flock to it.

Meanwhile the "old" FCA will become the chapter that is disavowed.

So in essence nothing will change other than the official club and the disenchanted chapter.

History will show the disavowed will be frowned upon by the HD spec people and those HD spec types will read history whilst others make it.

I'm all for a disavowed chapter, bit like an outlaw motor cycle club, rules within itself, never to be puppets to the multi nationals, plus we all get to root lots of women and drink sh!tloads of p!ss, while the HD official spec can drown their days in valium and branda vino and they can shove their cheap french vogue society

 

How and where do you actually vote (for the official club vote I mean, not this poll)? I've just checked out both the FCA and FCV websites and can't find anything about it, was something sent to all the members?

Ah right, that would be why. Now I might be a simple lad but can anyone tell me why a close alignment of the club with the factory would be helpful to someone such myself who owns a 34 year old car and buys nothing from the factory (directly) and gets no response to emails to the factory other than unsolicited offers to buy a $250 hat every now and then? Am I missing the point of all this?

 

One thing that I find disturbing in all this is, here we have a multi-million dollar corporation in another country, that can enforce its wishes and policies on a non profit organisation that is not for sale, that is a registered legal entity under Australian law. Their options are... sign it, or.....sign it. Sounds like, make them an offer they can't refuse.
