Correct on both counts.........they have instilled their will on the world at large, promoting themselves with every concievable item for sale. Their branding now supasses even the designer labels. And this whole concept of classique is crap, I;m sure PP would agree that my GTB is one of the most original 1 owner glass cars in Aust. The value would not increase because of a piece of paper, thats a misnomer, in fact I dont think Ferrari have good enough records going back before the 348 to say what numbers they actually built, heck they are wogs, born to twist the truth, thus let them tell us what to do, who cares, I dont wear their clothes or aftershave and I look with contempt at the hairdresser specs who need to tell the world they drive a car built in Italy........
Rob In all seriousness I don't know anyone except the carbie guys. The vote no or yes will have zero effect on that group. We do our own thing regardless. Most couldn't give a rats. Maybe 50% are not club members anyway. Maybe half the members probably don't care one way or another and the rest are probably split 50/50. John
So lets say there are 100 "carbie" guys in Oz. Say 50 are members. Now half of them don't give a rats and thus will not vote. That leaves 25 guys voting. I suspect that 12.5 will vote yes and 12.5 will vote no. So "carbie" impact on vote = zero.
As you said plenty of the carby guys are not members,reason who wants to hang out with people wearing crap footy jumpers. I just wish the carby group had never got involved with the FCA.
I just don't understand this. Who voted in your state president so that none of you want anything to do with them?? The club is for the members. Maybe, as well as voting NO, you should vote out your state president if he isn't running the club for the members?
I would suspect that of the 25 voting, most will vote NO. Correctly IMHO. That will have a siginificant effect on the result as it will be about 8% of the vote I would guess.
