I'm pretty sure too, but if I say for a 348 condenser they will ask for the size. It must be documented some where, right? Or am I too much used the German documentation of Porsches?
Perhaps. But there are only 4 main a/c o-ring sizes. 6, 8, 10 and 12. The basic generic size for the drier is a size 6 going from the drier to the condensor. The other size would be 8. So call them up and ask for 2x 6 and 2x 8 o-rings. Trust me. Not that I am aware of. I think so. Ferrari arent THAT good.
Tnx, 6mm seems a bit small though, but at least I know to what value the round to after measuring. It will take a while before I get used to the lack of documentation of the 348
I could be wrong, as I dont remember off the top of my head. But I did ask my a/c specialist mate and he suggested the same thing. So I reckon a 6 and 8 would be right on the money.
hm weird, I measured it, just to be sure. The "outer" diameter of the "inner" lines that glide into the condenser are exactly 8,65mm and 11,65mm. For those who were also wondering. I can imagine that an 8mm will fit, but 10mm should stretch about 4,5%. That seems a lot. Maybe the European versions are different. I will give these figures to the airco guys and they'll know what to do. Still waiting for those weird bolts to mount the airtunnel and ventilator, while it is getting hotter! Sorry for not taking your word for it PAP 348
