Which redline gear oil have most of you been running in the 360 F1, about to change it out and want to use the correct one. Have read alot of good things about the redline oil.

    The MT-90 75w90 or the MTL 70W80

75-90 NS is the matching one. not only the 75w90 but 75w90NS.
but as it is to slipperry you ve to add 1 1/2 bottle of redline adhesive too.
It says %4-5 pct of 75w90ns on the bottle.
If you dont add tihs; it may be too chatter usually.
    good luck

The NS designation means "No friction modifier", friction modifier is to allow the limited slip differential work properly, without it the LSD disc will bind. (chatter)

The combination that I have been using that worked well is to combine 8oz (2 bottle) of the Redline friction modifier + Redline 75W90NS gear oil. (around 3+ quarts)

I know some people will ask, why don't you just use the regular Redline 75W90 with already have friction modifier added. For whatever reason the old school gear box in the 360 shifts well with this combo. Of course the F1 owners will never feel the difference since the hydraulic slams it in gear regardless.

search the forum and you will find a lot of good advice. I personally use the NS without any fiction modifier. seems like majority of people don't need the fiction modifier.

I added about 2 ozs of Redline FM to the NS.. Just a very slight amount. My gear box is perfect.

Chris, I added 4oz at first but still found the LSD to slightly bind at low speeds with steering fully locked. Try to turn the steering wheel full to one direction and back up and see if you feel any bind.

I did have some "bind" when I had Royal Purple in it... especially if cold out on first start up.. she has been fine since Redline change & the FM... I believe Rifledriver said most are OK without but there were some that needed the FM..
