A 240z would be a great addition to the collection.
Hi Everyone, Weve been busy working on the calendar for Exotics@RTC. We wanted to give you a heads up on some dates and plans. More details will be posted for each event very soon. The fun starts July 3 where we will like last year, have more spectators from out of town than any other weekend so it's a great date to shine up the car and bring it out. July 11- Northwest Auto Salon BBQ and car clinic after E@RTC. July 17- Drive to Griots Garage for the Italian Show. July 24- BBQ at Lamborghini of Bellevue followed by a drive. July 31- YTD (Working on an overnight or day drive somewhere). August 7- YTD (Working on an overnight or day drive somewhere). August 8- Rare E@RTC presents: Jason Castriota and the unveiling of the new Ultimate Aero. August 14- E@RTC goes to Monterey (may be a local drive). August 21- Gumpert Apollo Lunch and Drive.
Don't forget this, all weekend. Sunday noon parade laps of a 1932 Alfa GP car with a new 8c Competitzione. For the real car guys.....
Hi Everyone, Looks like the weather will hold for Exotics at Redmond Town Center this Saturday. Last year the 4th of July weekend was our largest participant and spectator weekend and if you've not been out in a while, this will be one of the big weekends to come out and have fun. We keep seeing more and more new faces and every week brings a new group of cars so come out and see what's new!
My driveway is a little damp but my street is dry already. We are still on for this morning. Generally when it's a 20% chance of rain, we're still on as we tend to miss what rain there is most of the time. I've read every weather opinion I can find and the weather is expected to improve as the day goes on. If it's like last year this is also our biggest spectator day so we're still anticipating a good turnout!
ummer has finally arrived and I think we can call it for Saturday already. Enough with the rain! It's looking like this coming Saturday will be our FIRST WARM SUNNY morning of the year! Warm enough to wear shorts and T-shirts!!! Dust off the moths and show those white hairy legs! Okay, don't... (No whale-tails and tube tops on you guys please!) We should have a terrific turnout and we will anticipate using all three lots this week! Immediately after E@RTC we will be heading over to Northwest Auto Salon 4240 Gilman Pl W B, Seattle, WA 98199 for a BBQ and a detail seminar. They are offering free car washes but since most of you have clean cars already, we don't know how many will need that. We will head over at about 10:30 AM. Bring your GMRS-capable two-way radio if you have it! Given the weather, who knows where we'll end up after NWAS! Don't forget, Sunday is the Italian Show at Columbia Winery! Here is the Facebook link for that too! http://www.facebook.com/event.php?ei...4799086&ref=ts
What time does it start again? If I get a chance to clean the bugs off the Atom tomorrow, I might bring it.
Steve- cars start to show up around 8:00, we're 3/4 full by 8:30 AM, cars begin to leave at around 10:30. Tomorrow we're heading over to Northwest Auto Salon for a BBQ right after RTC.
One of the guys from the NW Ducati Club has posted some: http://arb.smugmug.com/Motorcycles/20100711-viva-italia/12894244_gYq8W#931176463_ZDb9D Mike
Jason posted his: http://www.flickr.com/photos/atomic80/sets/72157624470772510/ It was a good turnout!
Hi Everyone! We can call the weather early this week. Zero % chance of rain! We had 77 cars last week and we're expecting a very good turnout this week because of the Italian Car show immediately after E@RTC. We may even see a surprise car or two this time! We will have a drivers meeting at 10:00 AM, leaving for Griot's Garage in Tacoma at exactly 10:15 AM. It takes about 45 minutes to get there from RTC. This event is to replace the Des Moines show that won't happen this year because of construction. As you all may remember, it poured last year at that show so it would be great if we could have a good turnout this year. We look forward to seeing everyone. Don't forget to hug the parking thugs. We will have the very new Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible coming this Saturday. This is the 0-60 in 3.9, 202 MPH car they just released. It should be a cool car.
Hi Everyone! This coming Saturday after Exotics at Redmond Town Center we are all invited over to Lamborghini of Bellevue for a BBQ. We had a great time last year and this should be another nice event. We will head over at about 10:30 or so. This BBQ is open to everyone! It will be catered by Famous Dave's and I hear from Anthony that they are the best. Should be another nice turnout! Every week we see more and more new faces!
Damn, well tell Anthony to eat some for me...I'll be stuck on the range all day at West Coast Armory Indoor Range teaching people to shoot pistols.
