Do we have any fans on here?

I loved that show to death,I have alot of related merchandise. However,Im still trying to get either Book 3 volumes 3 and 4,or the entire Book 3 box set. I was very sad to see it end,but at the same time, happy to see Aang accomplish his task of defeating Firelord Ozai.

I sure hope there is a Book 4,if not something closely related to Avatar.

I loved the show and watched every episode at least 9 times. when i watched the movie and thought it was the worst movie i've ever watched. The acting was horrible, it sounded like they were reading off a piece of paper. they also pronounced the names wrong of iroh and atleast 4 other characters. after the first 15 min my friends and I were thinking about leaving and seeing another movie. And at the end of the movie someone yelled "Everyone ask for your money back!" (also the best part of the movie)

I went and saw the movie today. Story was way off: (SPOILER ALERT)

-It was shown that Haru lives in Kyoshi, and Kyoshi is controlled by the Fire Nation. Compared to Kyoshi NOT being involved in the warfare, and Haru living in a small, unnamed Earth Kingdom village.
    -No Kyoshi Warriors.
-Aang goes to the Northern Air Temple by himself, only to be ambushed in the sanctuary, and taken to the prison where Zhao is,which I think is the Air Temple. Compared to Aang going to the Temple,AFTER the Zhao ordeal, with Katara and Sokka, and they meet with the inventor and his people.
-At the North Pole,Zuko and Aang hide in a building, and fight in there. Compared to them hiding in a cave, and them fighting outside the cave.
-Also at the North Pole,Aang enters the Avatar State, but doesnt transform into the monster thing.
-Zhao is killed by waterbenders, not the monster thing. Before he is killed,Iroh comes to see him and Zuko about to fight. Iroh persuades him to come with him. Zhao attacks them, and Iroh defends them.
-Zhao kills the Moon Spirit koifish with a knife, not Firebending.
-Firebenders have to have a source of fire to bend, just like waterbenders have to have water, and earthbenders have to have earth. It is also stated that when Sozins Comet arrives,it will "give firebenders the ability to create fire with their chi".
-Zhao meets with Ozai twice. Plus Ozais face is shown.
-Aang goes to the Spirit World while in the Avatar State at the Southern Air Temple (remember,he is in the state because he found Gyatsos skeleton). He also meets Koh,which is introduced in the cartoon during the North Pole invasion.
-After the Blue Spirit/Zuko helps Aang escape from Zhaos prison,Aang flees without Zuko even knowing. Compared to Aang fleeing because Zuko shot fire at him.

Also, names were pronounced wrong. Aang (Ung),Iroh (Ee-roh),and Sokka (Soka),and in some cases,Avatar (Ovatar).

Despite all of this,I really enjoyed it.

This won't go over well with my kids...they've been counting the days in eager anticipation to see what previews lead us to believe would be an amazing movie. Reviews support exactly what you say.

I just don't get it...how can they make a movie that sucks such royal arse? You'd think they'd show previews and get feedback that would lead them to fix or edit such issues. I guess the hype and story will carry enough sales that it really doesn't matter, it's almost like bait & switch.

Seems like it's been a while since a truly remarkable movie has been released. Maybe Hollywood needs to come back to...ugh, er...Hollywood?

After Signs, everything N. Night touches, is destroyed - Although i have no knowledge of this Airbender, the film is no exception (according to IMDb, of course) last i saw, it was in the low 4's...

Although he does have another new movie coming out called "Devil" the preview looks interested, but so did the Lady in the Water and The Happening... 2 of the worst movies i have ever seen, especially the former
