I do. Well I am selling all my stuff, but I did it for 5 years.
I have a CRG with a Rotax engine.
The Rotax engine gave me the freedom to race the Rotax class, as well as the TAG class. I also raced on the Regional Rotax Max Challenge.
I recommend going to the local track and check what classes / chassis are supported locally.
I have a CRG because it is a great chassis, but must important; because the distributor goes to all the races, and let me tell you having access to spare parts is a great thing.
    Check www.ekartingnews.com for more info.

I race a Kosmic with a RokTT in the TAG senior class at Beaverun here in southwest Pa. At 45, I'm one of the older guys in the class, but I do ok.

Manuel offers excellent advice. CRG is a great chassis relatively straight forward to set up, while the Rotax engine is the best bang for the buck. Tony kart / Kosmic is also a nice option. Birel is good if it fits your driving style but not as easy to set up.

I retired from racing over 10 years ago but my buddy is a CRG distributor in Mexico and I get to test his race prepared karts with Maxter (shifter) engines.

Watch your wallet because it gets expensive very quickly.

I currently race 125cc shifters karts. I do some nationals, but mostly regional and some club. It all depends how much time I have. I recently switched to CRG this year from a TopKart. I have raced pretty much all the chassis out there and my favorite is CRG. But right now the best karts out there is either CRG or TonyKart. Start racing in your local club events and see how you do. After that depending on your progress you may want to try some regional stuff. Here is the series I race in. www.prokartchallenge.com. Ekartingnews is also a good source to find out more about karting

I strongly suggest that you find out who will be able to provide you with support at your local track. I race a Kosmic because of the outstanding support I get from the importer. Most of the field at our track is made up of Kosmic, PRG and Birel because of dealer and/or importer presence. Your area may have a completely different list of popular karts due to the availability dealer support.

Incidentally; I just sold a Tonykart with a Vortex 125 shifter engine to a guy from High Point NC. He left here about an hour ago. He intends to use it for auto-cross.

Thanks everyone for the input.I'm looking at at used Tony Kart w/o engine. They are building a new ''motorplex'' here and putting in a road course, supposedly a copy of the track karts use in Italy. The complex is being built by racers and ex-racers from all over the motorsports world.Supposed to open in late Sept.

I raced two stroke 100cc karts for about four years. It was a great time and the most blast for the buck you can get in racing sans maybe when I raced bikes, but those guys are certifiable LOL!

I race an Intrepid / Rotax DD2, in the Rotax national cup, in Portugal. I'm too old to be a front runner, but I get a lot of fun !

I've raced or driven all sorts of combinations... Love DD2s and wish that class would grow more. My current kart is an Arrow with a Maxter ICA and is quite easily the most fun I've had in a kart on dry track...
