Ha Steve, no points for qualifying but Nico needs a lead on the grid, Mikey has a way of jumping the small fry on lap one.... Very impressed with the DLR and Rubino.
As expected. There's not touching the Redbull this weekend and I don't think Webber will be a match for Vettel tomorrow. Nice job by Alonso to pull the Ferrari onto the second row; at least we could be looking at a podium tomorrow. Mark
Nice to see the Ferraris have made improvements. Hopefully there won't be any silly pit call errors tomoro. I wonder what was going on in the Schumi camp. He went out the last, and somehow, everything just went wrong. He was doing ok till Q3.
Yeah, I don't know. It is stunning, after all he was doing so great all season long. Suddenly things go wrong? Unfathomable... But I'm sure he'll make up for it at the start. And then pit 5 times to get new tires because he can't find grip.
I am disappointed with Massa. He is just lost lately....But he has a contract for the next 2 years...
As has been noted before, the body language between SV & MW appears a little cold.... Here's Marks comments after quali'.... Not a happy camper Where's the conspiracy theorists? Cheers, Ian http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/85160
Well, it'll be a tough fight for Webber against favoritism within the team. So Vettel's mechanics make a mistake and Webber suffers the consequences? Strange...
Grumpy. The wing issue is a legitimate gripe but he might have sucked it up and taken one for the team. Bit*hin' about 2nd place being worse than 3rd is just petulant.
Indeed. It's not like he's far off - 0.14 seconds. I'm sure had it been his car that the front fell off, he'd have got the spare. STFU and be happy with 2nd...... [Whats a little depressing is Fred's another 0.7+ away from him!] +1 Maybe Fred will swap with him as requested Cheers, Ian PS - "The front fell off" always reminds me of: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-QNAwUdHUQ
true....but his 'first' lap in Q3 was a 1.34.xxx, in other words, very slow. I think he made a mistake/got held up and for the second timed lap he already used his tires. I was very disappointed in that because looking what he did in Q2 he should have been 5-7th. Not 10th. Very happy for vettel, stunning stuff by him. No idea what Button was doing, and no idea why he can't get the option tire to work. didn't he fare the same in part 2 of 2009? Very happy for alonso, but 8ths is a long way. Red Bull are really in a class of their own. Hamilton did well to hustle his car up to 4th, i need him to do well in Jack's pool but for all I care he has a DNF (seeing as whenever I choose a driver I jinx him, there's still a good chance for it to happen...and what better place than in front of his home crowd? )
I've only recently discovered those guys. Just my sense of humor. Great to see comedy that doesn't hit you over the head.
