Hi Guys, I know this has been posted previously but I just can't find it. I'm hoping that someone has it at their fingertips........... What is the paint code and paint mix of the 328 wheel color? I just want to give my panel shop the specs so they can make it up and not have issues about the "right" color. I hate the glossy finish I see on many re-paints, we all know it was a flat finish from the factory. As always, thanks in advance......... Bob.
Hi Bob. For all the Ferrari produced between 1982 to 2007, Glasurit shows that the code is Fer101 / Fer101c Argento Nurburgring -without glossy clear lacquer over-. For the PPG paint the code is aluminum #770 but I think that the 328 had Glasurit instead of PPG. Check this useful Glasurit link: http://color-online.glasurit.com/?language=5 I hope this helps
Thanks guys............ I have done a bit more sniffing around and have come up with what I was look for but it gives me two options - Option one is called Glasurit Line 55 and option two is Glasurit Line 90. Any idea which of these mixes would be correct for wheels on a 328? Thanks, Bob.
