Can anyone give me some basic repair intervals & costs on a 430? If you put 4,000-6,000 miles per year on an F1 430, what are the repair intervals & costs for:

    Oil Changes
    Tires
    Clutch
    Brakes
    Tranny Service
    Recommended Preventative Service
    Etc.

    Thanks in advance.

This has been asked and answered many times. That's why no one is responding. Try a search.

Honestly, and I don't wanna sound harsh, but the items you have concern about are "consumables". They come with any car. If you are concerned about this, then quite possibly this model Ferrari may not be for you.

These items are expensive relative to "normal" cars. Buying the car is one thing...owning it is a completely different animal all together.

Plan to spend $5k per year under warranty and $10k per year out of warranty. Some years may be less, some more. But don't be surprised by spending those amounts on a car of this caliber. If a minor service on a $20,000 Toyota is $175, as a ratio, that same minor service on a $225,000 F430 (at new) will run about $2000.

    It ain't cheap...but you'll smile a lot while driving.

this is a bit much.. I would say per year 1-2k, with an occasional 5k year service intervals (clutch brakes tires)

if something breaks, yes that can cost.. but if you know a good independant you can subtract 30-40% off a dealers cost for almost everything

the 430 yearly service is about 800-1200 depending on where you go..

Personally my most expensive car to maintain has been an M3, which has cost me more than the ferrari and caused me more problems.. (shrug)

More reliable than my benzo. And that's been a solid E55.

$10K per year out of warranty? If you're paying this, you're being taken for a ride. Maybe if something breaks EVERY year, but the F430 is pretty reliable.

Agreed. I've had my '05 since new. Annual service averages less than 1K/year. I have had zero repairs out of warranty. Tires are another matter. Pirellis will go maybe 10K, less if you track it. Michelins last much longer. Bridgestones are cheaper but I don't know how long they last. A set of steel brake pads will cost about 1K installed. Add rotors for another 2K or so but you shouldn't need them for many years unless you track the car. How long a clutch lasts depend on the driver.

You're doing a bit better than me. Just about 4K miles from new and spent just under $3,000 in service. My second annual costed just a hair under $1500.

So that sounds like in 16k miles and 4 years mostly you are just paying the yearly fluid hangs and not much else.. 16k miles is low though so this is to be expected.. But that is good sign all the car needs is fluid for most part

Buy a 4-post lift for the garage & in a few years it pays for itself in annual fluid changes & really makes detailing a breeze..

I do mine because I enjoy doing it.. the saving a few bucks is a bonus but not the reason I do. I just really enjoy it.
