In my opinion a convertible with the roof down shall also have the windows down! If you perfer to drive with the windows up and the rear wind protector on , you might as well buy a ordinary car with a sunroof!

Therefore is quite annoying, that when I take down the roof on the Cali, the windows goes up! I always have to take the windows down after having taken the roof down. In earlier convertibles I have had, the windows stayed dow!

Does anybody know if this is can be changed? My local dealer tells me it cannot, but I don't accept that!

I was wondering why ALL the windows don't go up. The rear side windows must be manually raised following the sequence. I did a comparison test to see if there is a difference in the buffeting with the rear windows up and down. There doesn't seem to be any, so I raise them after the lowering the top. It is just one more thing that I must manually adjust before driving off:
(pushing the auto button to get it into manual, and switching the air flow directional knob back and forth to get it flowing where I want it as it does not direct the air where it is set unless I rotate it). I like the streamlined looks with all the windows up rather than just the front side windows.

I do the same thing. After I open the top, I manually raise the rear windows as well because I think the car looks better that way.

I read in the OM that if one pushes the roof button quickly a couple of times all the windows go up or down, but I never seem to be able to get it to work more than half the time so it must be too sensitive or complicated. I also manually either raise or lower the rear or all depending on temps.

Went back out to check on this and figured out that while I was pushing the center of the roof button, it actually must be pushed in front of or behind that one to raise or lower all windows. Works every time now!

Still don't understand why the default when lowering the roof isn't to keep all windows down..
