It's crazy, but the team is in real crisis now. I won't be surprised if Renault and Force India overtakes them by end of the season.

Technically even Vettel had problems passing Sutil, they are gaining strength. In regards to Renault Kubica might be able to take the fight but Petrov will just throw the car off the track, he isn't quite there yet

I'm not talking about track passing Bryan ;)

More like stupid decisions. The team needs a leader now. They look so clueless this year.

I think the only stupid decision was to not let Kubica by right away, their past three races have been screwed by odd circumstances. Alonso could have gotten a win at Canada possibly but was held up Buemi, then a Lotus? Or an HRT? Settle for third, not as expected, that same race Massa was involved in an incident to knock him out of the points. In Valencia our race was ruined by strange circumstances while Lewis was helped by strange circumstances, it just happened that way. This past race was closer to stupid as Alonso tapped into Massa giving him a puncture, then the Kubica incident, then the SC coming out at exactly the wrong time for Ferrari again.

I love Massa and was excited that he could come back from his accident last year, but he has displayed some cluelessness (is that a word?) spinning and having a few offs. Having said that he did set a fastest lap after getting new tires, only Alonso was faster

Speaking about Alonso and the British press or Hamilton and the Spanish press, I can tell you that a lot.

You think Kubica was absolutely in the right to push Alonso off track in that spot? Bold claim.

They need to boot Domenicali. I don't see the problems with the drivers at all.

What would I be joking about, the 248 or Alonso?

You can't blame him purely for the lack of competition, read what I stated earlier in this thread

The R26 was the better car of the two by far in 2006...if anything its performance was brought down to Ferrari's level after the banning of the mass damper.

Each car had it's big time failures, Suzuka for Schumi, Monza for Fernando. Take Michael's crash out at Austrailia and he only trails by 3 points in the WDC. Had Felipe and Schumi not crashed out at Austrailia keeping the rest of the season the same Ferrari would have had the WCC

Like I said, the cars were pretty much even after the mass damper was banned. Prior to that the R26 was better.

I think it was more down to Ferrari driver error, but I can see what you're saying, was it France that the mass damper was banned?

I just had a thought: After all those battles between Alonso and Schumi, I wonder if Fernando doesn't have flashbacks when he sees a red car come up on him.
Maybe that's why he's always punting Massa off track. ;)

Agree, but most concerning is that the boss thinks that they are "cursed".

I've read about Ascari and how he was very superstitious, have we got a team boss that suffers the same bollocks ... :(

No just what I think is reasonable.

It seems sometimes even if you do give it back you still get a penalty. Although I have never seen that done to a red car... :)

This thread got 5 pages worth of play since yesterday afternoon?

I have more interest in how Yamamoto managed to drive the entire race.

    Rock on Sakon!!!

Now back to the Senna 'look' in Porsche speak. ;)
