I hv to sign off before end of the week for Jan production 2011 for my California. The dealer said "last chance... to give up up California quota for the 458... which is now around 2014..."... guys as you all know, I sold my 4s and now have a jeep. I am only planning to keep a Ferrari more and 4 years time? I am not so sure... he said within the 4 years, there will be original depositers backing out or changing minds... I may have a chance to get it 1 year earlier or more... but I have to just sit tight... It is unlikely to come next year so we are looking at end of 2012/13...

They are worlds apart... but... this is just a dilemma. Saw one LHD today in Rosso Corsa I think.

Finally, if I finalize the spec, I am steering more towards Rosso Corsa now... just unsure about a Bianco Avus GT Ferrari as it is risky in case I grow out of it but I saw many Panameras and Cayennes in White as well as 911 so the trend is here to stay. Black Porsches look a bit dated now... for some reason.

My final spec would be :

Rosso Corsa with Black Leather, Yellow Stitchings and Yellow Seatbelts (more sporty...) or
Rosso Corsa with Black Leather, Red Stitchings and Black Belts

or Bianco Avus with Black Leather, Yellow Stitchings and Yellow Seatbelts...

My heart is telling me White but my brain logic is saying Rosso Corsa (scuderia is too racy for this car to me...)

    Help needed and inputs needed

Go with your first gut instinct. You are buying the car for yourself not for resale.

    +1

There are a lot of RED Ferraris. Not many white ones. Everyone loves my TDF - perhaps simply because it stands out in the sea of Red!

If you had a difficult decision to go from a C4s to a Ferrari, IMO you will be happier with the more versatile California. I agree with Jennifer, red Ferraris are so cliche and don't stand out. My vote is for Bianco with Charcoal interior and yellow stitching (plus yellow rev counter and yellow calipers). Yellow seat belts may look cool too. Whatever you get, please remeber to post pics.

The process is quite exciting, eh?

dilemma is truly good yet exciting. Red is a no brainer. CAN'T BE WRONG... like 458, a white one... um... a Corsa, NO BRAINER... never bad just SAFE. Traditionally, if I recall besides Miami Vice (the old one), no one truly drives white ferraris... Porsche is arguable (I think Porsche in red... is a bit interesting to me... not well matched)... maybe they started it. The recent rend is nero daytona, while understated, I'd take rosso corsa over that. Bianco with Black is a good choice (not sure about Charcoal and what it looks like) with special RED STITCHINGS and RED BELTs (or yellow stitchings and yellow belts? that is risky though)... yellow tachymeter, calipers, shield.

Oops! Sorry, MalibuGuy! I bet yours is stunning!

There is something about a Red F car and my husband, for one, wouldn't have anything else.

Sorry, for multiples but I am trying to get to at least Jr by the end of today. ;)

My vote is for Bianco, with Cuoio with red stitching, red calipers, red tach. I think the red seatbelts are a bit much on those I've seen. I think I'd stick with black. But to each his own...

I'd also suggest the carbon fiber for at least the center console panel. My metal one smudges a lot and reminds me too much of my Crossfire panel.

I really like the stitched horses! I wish I'd had the opp for stitching but mine came "as-is" with no wait so can't complain.

Ooh, maybe no shields if you do red calipers and stitching, or do they come in Red as well as yellow? Oh, and what about center caps, can those come in red? Mine are yellow. Oh, this is hard...you definitely don't want to mix red and yellow on the outside. I do have a yellow tach which matches my shields and center caps.

    Decisions Decision!

I think he is trying to keep the option costs down to a minimum.

In that case my vote is to focus on the wheels, stitchings, seats, and possibly Magnaride.

My options are at a minimum. Magneride essential. I have cruise control but don't really use it that much. Love the iPod integration and couldn't live without it, even though the stereo is average. I'd go without shields if I were doing red stitching, etc.

Love the automatic seats and haven't had any probs but someone else mentioned the lumbar support going out.

That's what I thought. Now I know why some people prefer them without.

What about the center caps? I've seen them in alum and yellow. Do they come in other colors?
