Even better then a F48, that is a Koenig Competition Evo! Based on the F512M, makes about 1000 HP in top form.

The F48 was based on the 348, the three different versions of the Competition we all based on the Testarossa/512TR/F512M.

Yum :) I could use another TR in the stable, number four LOL

Have to get rid of that awful yellow paint though, maybe a blue 1 this time

That would look insane in NART blue or Azzuro California

I think NART would look amazing. I really love Azzuro Cali but I think there's too many lines, vents, etc for that color. It's too classy for something like this IMO. Definitely a dark blue or Nero.

Wouldn't a care based on a F512M have a 512 rear?? This car has 512 front headlight section but the rear tail lights are from an earlier TR.

You never know with Koenig. The customer could get whatever they want. Without seeing more pics it is hard to tell what one this one is based off of. It might be a 512TR. Either way, my point was it is Testarossa/512TR/F512M based, which are all the same basic car as we all know. The F48 was based on the 348.

    Dear Ferraristi,

I'm going to say this Koenig is based on a Testarossa, not TR or M. If you look at the OEM taillights under the OEM rear grill, they are Testarossa lights. The 512TR tail lights went with colored bulbs under white turn signal lenses while the original Testarossa has an amber turn signal lens.

That wouldn't tell you really. As I was saying Koenig would do whatever the customer wanted and no matter if you came to them with a Testrarossa, 512TR or F512M they would use the same three body kits they sell that were primarily based on the original Testrarossa. With the exception of the latest version shown here that has a more F512Mish nose.

    Dear Ferraristi,

I don't think someone would go through the trouble of going back "in time" to an older tail light unit and amber lens.

The only thing that is the M "look" is the projector beams. The front bumper is still the same as the original....based on the F 40. My guess says original Testarossa, the tail lights give away what car it is.

Actually, this really is a faux-pas as they should have upgraded the rear to M lenses if you've already gone and done the front hood with the projector beams.

BTW, the front hood is definitely not an M hood as it uses NACA ducts for the HVAC intake. It's a modified Testarossa or TR hood. My guess, I still say originally a Testarossa.

That is what I was thinking. It is possible that the car could have been in an accident at some point and the front end "updated" at that time, just a guess. Some good info here also.

And a pic of my favorite version of this car...

I totally agree, and the SF badges aren't indented into the fenders. Logic would say for the kind of money a Koenig costs everything would be done to the highest standards. I even question if it's a real Ferrari conversion. As Shamile said "I don't think someone would go through the trouble of going back "in time" to an older tail light unit and amber lens".

As someone said earlier, it might be a knockoff.

If it's real, the Hubbster will probably pounce on it. It would make a great companion for the 'Slutmobile!" :)
