I need the following hoses test fit and verifyed to be a perfect fit, as designed, prior to full production sign off's. If you have any of the following that is apart right now where a test fit can be done quickly, I will supply one hose for free for your troubles. 308 2v under the intake formed coolant hose TR front engine formed coolant hose 550 Valley formed coolant hose I have none of these models apart right now and need to verify everything is well so I can turn production loose with our first stock order. I will supply our SRInnovations hose and the correct clamps to the first responder with the given models. We have all of the other models all test fit and verified at this point. Thanks, Dave
I've got a 550 coming in next week that's await a full SR kit, I can probably get this one hoes fitted and ok'd.
Those are some sexy hoses. I may need to get some for my car. I don't remember seeing pics of them on the SR website, but that pic of Daniels alone should be good for sales!
Check these out. here is the 348 kit and the 355 kit. Great product and whatever Dave does should be considered as gold.. R Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This past winter I changed every hose, sleeve and line in my car ('84 308 QV) with Dave's help and products. They are in a class all their own, as is Dave himself. This one definitely gets my juices flowing......here's a photo of the tank to fuel pump hose with its anti kinking springs. The fuel and vacuum lines were original to the car. The car obviously had some vacuum leaks after 25 years, and after all lines were changed, the difference in the drive and responsiveness of the motor was amazing....and I thought it ran well before hand. A word of caution to everyone, the sleeves from the fuel tanks to cross over pipe were original to the car, and I believe I got them off "just in time" as they were simply tearing as I was removing them, they were really, really soft. Everyone should inspect these and other fuel lines at least yearly at this point, even a mid 90s car is 15 years old now. If you go with Dave's products for this, you're good for life. Thanks Josh, that makes two. No TR's apart in the crowd? Sorry for the slow response, spent yesterday evening and this AM with Mr and Mrs Plugzit. The defination of a Fun Time on Pearl Street redefined! What wonderful new friends to have! Thank you for the kind words, Dave
Are those semi-transparent abrasion sheaths on the (2) small diameter, straight hoses? If so, that's what I love to see --- nice attention to detail!!!
Check. Check. Check. Bruce say's he's coming back to clean out the loft and barn one day. A collection of all the old 348 bits I cleaned out of 3 calving barns years ago still taking up space. Im still waiting for that moment to flog a fly with you one day. Spent the holiday weekend on the Arkansas. High and fast, broke the 9 wt. and was left throwing salt water streamers with a short 5 wt..... again Kris beat me using a mis matched 4 wt. wearing a bright pink fishing vest our son gave her.... put in my place again, whats up with that?!
Dave- If you want to try the Arkansas this time of year I would recommend the Lake Fork near Leadville. 10,000' altitude but a lot of meadows so run-off is not too bad and clear until late in the afternoon, when melt water does start to foul it. It is an RMAC property and I have never failed to find dry and dropper action on that stretch. Jan and I have even done a couple of grand slams there. For you non-trout junkies, that is a Rainbow, Brown, Brook, and Cutthroat on the same day. FBB- Have used Woolie Bugars in the past, but not recently. I throw them with a 4 weight, which is about all I fish any more. When the water is high, I just find someplace else to fish. The Conejos is at perfect height for fishing right now, but it is a long drive from the Boulder area down near Antonito. There are something like 30 streams in the drainage. No trips planned so far this year, but it looks like Jan and I will celebrate our 36th at Trinchera Ranch, what used to be Forbes Ranch, in late August. Fishing on the Ute, Culebra, and Conejos. If you two want to hit the Green above Fontanelle, there is superb streamer and nymph fishing for really big fish and you can hit the Ham's Fork for outstanding dry fly fishing and maybe the Smith's Fork for Bonneville Cutthroats up to 20". Those Bonnevilles are really dumb. I like that in a trout. http://www.thesolitaryangler.com/ Taz Terry Phillips
Thirty years yesterday for us. I will be working long hours for a while to re coop from my post shopping trauma. Damn she is a tolerant lady. I cant count the years the Chicago Historic Races ran on this weekend and she was a racer's widow for our anniversary weekend. I bought Kris a new pair of waders and boots this spring, our son bought her a vest, my spare Wilson has her name on it.... Momma didn't raise just any old fool but then to have her out fish me everytime to boot..... Time for me to break out the bamboo so I have something of an excuse, anything!
