    Yes.

    Sony Xplod MEX-BT5700U.

I have it in all my Ferraris. Best unit you can get, and it does everything. The user interface is what makes it the best. Easy to use -- very well thought out with dedicated buttons for all the important functions.

As for GPS, get a separate dedicated GPS unit like a Garmin. If you require an all-in-one unit, the quality of the various functions is going to suffer. I highly recommend against the all-in-one approach.

Abe- Give Scott a call. He is an FChatter and can probably also give you advice. I agree with Dave on trying to do everything with one unit. The area below the radio is fairly shallow, so no room for a retractabel screen like some have fitted to their 599s, etc.

Personally I couldn't live with something that intrusive regardless of functionality

Keep in mind you dont have to have the screen out all the time as it still functions while closed and there are no permanent changes to the car.

I, too, have kicked around the idea of fitting a 599 unit in my car. They are expensive from the dealer, but there was a link here somewhere about a guy picking one up on the cheap and putting it in the 575. The Becker unit ( I think it is called Cascade) http://www.mybecker.com/www_root/documents/Flyer_7944_Cascade_GB_0408.pdf cross references will fit, but if I recall there was some problem getting it to mate up. I recall it had something to do with the location of the transponder. I am no sterio expert. Plenty of great audio systems out there, I was just wanting it to keep it Ferrari for resale.
