What is good to use on all the leather in a 360- Lexoil?

My car is kept in the garage and since it doesn't get too much time parked out in the sun the leather and leather dash is perfect- I'd like to keep it that way of course! Do folks recommend a product like Lexoil? Also, how frequently should it be applied- 1x per year? 2x per year?

Andrew, I've been using Lexol for over 10 years with my other cars and now the Ferrari. I apply it as much as I have time, so sometimes 3-4 times a year. Lexol have done a great job in keeping the leather like new in my spider.

 

Leatherique, I soak my interior several times a year with the rejuvinator & wipe off with the prestine clean...

Another Leatheriquer here. I'm sure Lexol and many other well known leather treatments work great as well, but I doubt any are better than Leatherique.

How does the leatherique smell? Also, any oily residue? Lexoil has a bit of a smell when I used it on my 911, and also some residue, both of which seemed to go away after a few days....but my 911 only had leather seats- the 360 is leather EVERYWHERE! Dash, sills, etc... so I want to make sure to protect the leather- especially the beautiful dash board!

I will be the lost soul in the desert and say I use Zaino on my car with great results. Cleaner and "leather in a bottle". Helps maintain the leather smell, too. My 6 year old car smells like the leather was put in there yesterday and has remained soft in NM's 10% humidity.

no smell. Its neutral. No grease residue once you wipe it all off with prestine clean after sitting for a day..
what I do is bare hands spill rejuvinator into my palms... wipe all over - massaging into leather-- by hand. No rags etc.. use your hands. Do dash, all the leather & I also do the rubber coated stuff that so many people have turn to tar... its kept mine like new with no goo breakdown.

Let sit 24 hours, preferably in heat... wipe off with prestine clean coated cloths..
Interior will be back to as new as possible with whats at hand. Period.

DO NOT BE SCARED TO PLAY IN IT I come in after leatheriquing my interior and my hands feel like a chicks It may look like hell when you apply it... however have faith. Once wiped with prestine clean its back to a interior that feels/looks like new.

 

No smell. Just follow the bottle instruction (or as indicated by several folks above).

I use connolly hyde care products. I figure if they make the leather for Ferrari then I will use what they recommend. Theres a cleaner and when it dries you apply the conditioner. It works great. But im sure all the products mentioned above work great too.

 

I like Zaino and Zymol for quick detail jobs. Leatherique is the bomb though!

I've used Zaino products for many years in my other cars, and now my F430. The car always gets compliments that the leather smells as if the car were new (it's an '06).

I must admit that I am somewhat confused about what to order if I wanted to try the leatherique. What would I order if my interior color was cuoio? Do I need to order a specific color leatherique product? Or is there just a neutral propduct for all leather?

Do I need to order both Rejuvinator Oil and Prestine Clean?

OK guys- I just ordered the 2 bottles (the rejuvinator and prestine cleaner). This must be what the dealer used when I bought the car- the dealer did a very high quality detail and the leather looked and smelled new on my 10 year old 360...leather still looks new and smells good but the smell is not as good as it was when I first got the car. Looking forward to trying this stuff to protect the leather and get back some of that handbag leather type smell

I don't think there is any color involved unless you get the dye type of stuff...at least I hope not! I just ordered the two 16 ounce bottles for $40 (note: they jack up the price when adding shipping and handling). It didn't say anything about selecting an interior color for the set...
