    I wouldn't think it would ever completely "soak in", but if it works for you and isn't getting on your clothes then sure, why not.

    Further thinking.... if you don't need to clean up any residual product, I'm wondering if you are putting enough on the leather.
    When I've used it, I have it literally puddling in spots. You need to flood the surface to an extent.

    I called Leatherique and they told me after soaking in - you can use another solution to wipe off the dirty stuff that is floating up. It is ok. It is better with Prestineclean (but if you do have one handy then it is ok)

    What are you using to clean up after the soaking in?

    Yep= you putting it on too light as said above... my dash looks like hell its so soaked, noway you could NOT wipe it off as every bit of dust would adhere to it.. I have let it sit for a week & still had to use the prestine clean...it feels "tacky" if you dont.

    Use your hands & apply a good amount.

    Just when I thought I had this stuff figured out- I thought you only had to let it sit on the surface for a few hours or a day in the sunlight w/windows rolled up? Whey do you let it sit for a full week?

    wasnt driving it & was in no hurry.. Figured extra time is going to just soak in that much more..

    I'm putting it on like you would Armour-all a dash in the old days. Thin even coat. Disappears after day or two (or three...)

    So you guys are like soaking it?

    No, you don't use it like Armorall. Armorall is just a surface coating treatment where Leatherique is suppose to absorb into the hide. You have to use as much as the leather will take. If it disappears then that just means you gotta slop on/massage in some more. After you coat the seat take some plastic wrap and cover it so it simply isn't drying up.

    Keep doing this until the seat is fully "rehydrated" (or whatever the process is) and it won't take anymore.

    Its a pain to do the whole process but its unreal how well the stuff works!
