Typisch? Inderdaad, daar aan de binnenkant zit de pijp waar je aan de buitenkant de benzineslang in hangt. Ik zeg.. een kleine lekkage i.c.m. de enorme hitte bij de motor vanwege de buitentemperaturen. Maar wie ben ik..

Dear Peter den Biggelaar,

We are getting closer to the date of uniques special ones. The exhibition and relations event in the beautiful city of Florence will offer not only cars, but also artefacts from the world of luxury – unique pieces that once belonged to celebrities or that have some special significance in history.

On Friday the 24th, Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th of September Palazzo, Conventino and the Giardino della Gherardesca, now the Four Seasons Hotel in Florence, will be exclusively reserved for the event created by MAC Group. The idea was conceived by Sandro Binelli, Patron of the Concours and Secretary General of the Mille Miglia Organising Committee.

The event will not be open to the public: access to uniques special ones will be restricted to just 500 enthusiasts and spectators per day.

On the Saturday, the cars taking part in uniques will be exhibited on the lawns of the Giardino Della Gherardesca. Entrants and visitors will be able to wander amongst prototypes and one-offs, while the judges start voting for the concours. In the early afternoon, the cars will be presented to the public by Sky journalist Savina Confaloni and famous car expert Marko Makaus. On Sunday, the exhibition of uniques special ones unique artefacts will continue, while in the afternoon, once the international panel of judges have reached their verdicts, the cars that have won 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the various categories will parade through the gardens.


Several automobile marques will be present with unique cars from the past and present. Just some of these are Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Rolls-Royce, as well as great coachbuilders such as Bertone, Carrozzeria Castagna, Pininfarina and Zagato.


Day access to the event can be purchased by means of a special code, offered to a limited number of enthusiasts. The cost is €250 (inclusive of VAT) and includes coffee breaks, aperitifs and lunch in the lounges of the Four Seasons.


Also on offer are a very limited number of hotel rooms as part of the complete programme for visitors who do not wish to enter a car. If you are interested, please contact us.

Atelierbezoek moet je altijd doen. Behalve dat ze allerlei voorbeelden hebben van materialen nemen ze je ook mee de fabriek in om te laten zien hoe jouw keuzen eruit zien in het echt. Dat heeft mij in elk geval behoed voor het maken van verkeerde keuzen.

Het was op de 599 draad al te lezen, maar heb het vandaag uit "eerste" gehoord. Er komt een 599 spider met GTO engine. Met een linnen kap als de 550 Barchetta met dus een max van 120km/u..... Limited editon: 99 (!) stuks. Wees er dus snel bij...

Ik begrijp trouwens waarom ze het aantal omlaag hebben gebracht, de "gewone" GTO is nog steeds niet volledig uitverkocht. Dat willen ze niet nog een keer meemaken
