So I was driving my Cali the other day, light turns green I floor it but not too hard, when suddenly a guy in an SUV follows me and tells me to roll down my windows, he said that he saw a weird tiny spark coming from the rear of the car when I accelerated, not knowing where exactly it shot from, somewhere between the rear wheels and the rear bumper, I thanked him, he really looked concerned, then I started to think what the hell just happened? how can something like that happen? should I take it for a check up?
    what do u guys think?

Could be something loose and dangling that hits the ground under acceleration.

It's under warranty. Personally, I would bring it in. Sparks are never good.

I agree ... get someone else to follow you for a few accelerations to see if it can be replicated. Good luck! Be sure to let us know if you figure it out.

I wonder if it could be the kapow from the tailpipes. It is a mini-backfire.

Since he saw it coming from the rear I'm guessing it's either the ceramic brakes or the exhaust, I don't think it came from the brakes because I didn't brake hard at all, so it might be the exhaust..

I'd be psyched if that's what people see when I shift gears! No wonder Rick drives the heck out of it!

The KaPow is a sort of backfire. Because the shifting is so rapid, there is unburned fuel which ignites in the exhaust. This is normal for this configuration.

what configuration are we talking about here?
so it's kinda normal with Ferrari cars?

Damn.. that GTO is on fire!
is this a stock car or modified? that doesn't look normal at all..
