I'm 95% sure it is a real Ferrari with a body kit.

To the owner: If there is a real Ferrari Boxer hiding in there, please do the right thing and set it free!

Definitely has a lot of Boxer influence, no idea who would put a wing like that on a boxer, or those strange rear panels.

    I love it. I love the crazy 80s wide-body stuff. **

    Sincerely.

Not sure the point of this thread. Is it that the car's ugly? Or is it that a Ferrari should never grace the parking lot of a Wal Mart?

a lot of people missed the whole point of this thread. I was making fun of it. It has a ID tag, so it should pop up on craigslist or ebay sometimes this week. Wonder how much the owner wants for it.

    FWIW,
I think the car is kind of cool. It's not some cheap body kit. It appears to be an actual Koenig bodied Ferrari Boxer. If that is the case, it is a rare car....not one that I would ever own, but a neat piece of 80's Ferrari history nonetheless.

It is a REAL Ferrari. This looks to be taken at the Wal-Mart in Chantilly, VA. The owner (or a previous owner) attended an FoW Road Rally with it back in 2008. Here's a picture I took of it at the finish line.

Not my car...but I recall (back in 2008) that I thought the wing looked as if it came off a Countach?

I like it too, just a child of the 80's I guess.... It is like the ultimate Miami Vice bad guy car.

I have been to Wall-Mart several times and each time i took my Porsche. Nothing ever happened to it.

Real and rare 512 BBi with Koenig Body kit (maybe engine mods as well..)

Looks a lot like a Countach wing to me.

Or a Pantera. IIRC, I've heard of both types being used, and they're similar.
