Ok I have a 2001 360 Spider Euro version. I would like to know if anyone has some tips on how to inexpensively improve performance. I thought it was pretty quick to begin with but as you know the more you drive it the more you get used to the power and you just got to have more! Let me know of any tricks that may bump up the power. Thanks!

    sorry couldnt help myself!!

you would have to be a brave soul to start doing motor mods!!

only thing i would do is exhaust....hyperflow cats....and thats it.

    if not enough...read first line.

    good luck.

So with labor you are talking probably $10,000.00. I wonder if that would be enough difference in power to justify the investment. I am sure the sound is awesome though.

IMHO, the best way to squeeze performance from a Ferrari is with high performance driver's education. In the hands of a professional driver (or perhaps I should say "with the instruction of a professional driver") you will be amazed at the capabilities of the car, in bone-stock running gear.

In our area, we have some absolutely astounding pro driver/educators... Chuck Hawks, Peter Krause, etc. For way less than the cost of mods, I'd bet a person can achieve performance skills that'll easily trounce even heavily modified cars.

Daniel you have a valid point. However some might argue that more HP = larger penis size :)

When I started hot rodding my old 911 and looking for upgrade info, EVERYONE said a driver's ed course. Unless you're "that good", no one drives these cars to their potential.

Since your 360 is Euro spec, I don't think you need headers.

The best bang for the buck is definitely high flow cats (15~25rwhp gain), then followed by ECU (20rwhp gain).

I have Kinetix racing high flow cats, the difference is awesome, it is already plenty quick enough (I can pull 4.0 sec flat 0~60mph all day long), but another 30rwhp will make it near perfect in terms acceleration.

I think I've said this way too many times, but here I go again. First thing you should do as has been mentioned here, learn to really handle your car, and to drive it lets say to 70% of its limits without any traction controls. You could probabbly train a chip to push a gas peddle and go fast in a straight line, skill comes from letting the tail out around a corner and then bringing it back in, or taking a L curve perfectly, now that is an amazing feeling no matter what your driving. No offence but I doubt 10% of owner have a clue how to handle theirs cars, and that is not just Ferrari owners. More power does not always mean more enjoyment.
