the LP 400 does not look bad at all
likely has never been started in years but looks pretty much all there and original, kept in closed storage

Paul I think the car got away from him under acceleration and hit the banking.

Its the same QV as used by AUTOCAR in the article racing with the Superbike, variously also registered 25 ASM and 666 RU as well as the C 705 BYX reg it had in the article.

Tim: I bet it fires right up and I could drive it straight from Bloomington MN to Laguna Niguel CA with no problem.

    LOL!

The tricky part would be getting it here from Asia first. ;)

    Definitely not a Garage Queen.

I heard a rumor that you were heading this way for a visit.

We're looking forward to seeing them. :D

Too bad you couldn't make it, I have a friend that is moving toward owning a Countach that wanted to meet you. A future opportunity for both of you perhaps.

As you & I both know, the biggest challenge with Countach ownership is finding the right car, and I must admit there are very few good Countachs actually available (the owners of great examples hang on to them tight), and even fewer that I'm comfortable recommending. But I'm always ready to try and help...

looks like a naked CF wing on original support

i agree carbon fiber or blacked out look does not go well with a 80's car imo

Painted 5 times but always blue.

There is nothing like a blue Countach.

    Except, a blue Countach!

    Fabulous Peter.

I was there when the yellow Countach hit the banking. probably in that photo as I was talking to a Lamborghini owner at the time, at the point where the cars are turning up the hill. The driver carried on up the hill and must have been quite embarrassed as there were plenty of people watching.
