Thanks to everyone for the nice replies. I picked the car up yesterday afternoon, a day early as I could not wait. All I can say is: "WOW". It is so different from my 575. I'm really amazed at how far the car has come mechanically from the 575 in 5 years. The F1 is the biggest improvement. After I got my Scud, the F1 in that car vs my 575 was what started me thinking about the 599. It's a very comfortable GT cruiser and has some nasty power under the hood at the same time. I took a friend's 16 year old son out for a spin and he was speechless. I'll post some more comments up after I log some back country mileage.
Congratulations!! I saw you driving around today in Greenwich at the fire station by river road....unless it was an identical 599 HGTE with NY plates. I gave a honk and the thumbs up. The car looks great on the road!
