    This isn't my lid but one on a French auction site. I thought it looked pretty nice too. Any modification to the engine lid is probably never going to look right to a Dino owner but this is better than most I've seen. 450 euros on leboncoin.fr

    This one came with the Dino when the current owner bought the car in 1974....

    'looks pretty good, Matthias. I wonder if there's a clearance problem when opening the trunk? Were the hinges modified? I don't think mine would clear. No big deal; just curious.

    Was that done by a dealership or someone just looking for bettere airflow. Curious about it being done so far back

    Hello Shawn, that`s a question difficult to answer. From 1972 to 1974 the car had 3 owners and already some kind of engine rebuild....
    I think one of the previous owners just wanted to improve the airflow, maybe for racing..
